This product is not HD its also hard to clean, grainy pictures, easily get scratched, too expensive, dull and don't waste your money on this dumb matte screen guard. I had it for 12 days and thrown the whole pack away.

After reading some mixed reviews and the manufactures information I decided to buy.

The film is certainly good at being anti-glare. And I like the matt look and feel.
BUT it certainly isn't HD. Unless they mean Half Definition!

It's now impossible to read small text on the superb retina display.

I removed the film within 5 minutes. What a waste of money.

PITA to install, only one pre-installation film included, and it horribly degrades my phone's beautiful retina display. I cannot believe they sell this product in the Apple store. The one I had before (can't remember the brand now!) was so much better!

If you don't appreciate the clarity of your iPhone then does the job

I am so disappointed with this. After upgrading from my iPhone 4 to the 4s version I decided to protect my screen this time round to keep it perfect. I didn't with my iPhone 4 and after two years of use it's still in pretty good nick despite usually kicking around the bottom of my handbag or in the clutches of my 4 year old. I have to say I'd rather suffer a few light scratches than lose the enjoyment of crystal clear clarity that this protector takes away from the phone. I feel like I'm looking at my boyfriends rubbishy old HTC wildfire!! I'm surprised Apple sell this in their store! Yes it's easy to apply and fits perfectly........but I may as well have have bought a phone from the dark ages now that the screen is muted and grainy. If you value your photos and appreciate the superb quality of picture DO NOT STICK THIS TO YOUR PHONE!!!!

Too Fussy to fit & a 1 off use per Cover.

After going through I don't know how many Protective Screens, just getting them on without bubbles, and failing every time. Apple had the Moshi Screen Protector for AU$29.99, I bought one from Hong Kong for AU$20.50, had to wait a bit longer but saved $10. It went on perfectly 2nd try. It is completely bubble free, leaves no residue, is washable and reusable. I have it fitted on my new iPhone 4S which is inside an Otter Defender Box. Complete protection and easily removed to go into a Leather Belt Pouch when not working in the bush. Don't waste your money, buy the best and pay only once.

After a few days, it got dirty and had visible marks all over it. Plus it makes the screen display less appealing.

Who has a "dust free environment" anywhere, let alone in any major city. After 15 minutes of frustrating attempts to remove all the dust, and another 30 minutes of trying to apply the film only to discover MORE dust, I can safely say this product is horrible. I don't understand how it has 44 ratings with almost four stars. Waste of my money is all I can say.

What is the main promise of Iphone4/4s RETINA screen? To have the highest resolution that exists in a device of this nature.
What makes this %&$?&/% film by placing it on the iphone? Kill this great invention: Goodbye resolution, brightness and sharpness. It's absurd how people from Apple allows the existence of this product in the stores.

If you want to anger as I am buying this film.

    expensive and terrible.

Having just switched from 3S to 4S, i've been amazed by the screen clarity. THat is, until I put this screen cover on it. The screen protector went on wonderfully (having fought with many iPad covers, this was excellent), but once on - the clarity is long gone and screen is grainy. awful! booooooo. :(

Followed the directions exactly. The first time I put my iphone into a bag with this product on, the edge came up, bent and is no longer usable. Ridiculous.

    NOT RETINA DISPLAY COMPATIBLE

Twice I made the same mistake in buying this HD Anti-Glare film set. THIS IS NOT RETINA DISPLAY COMPATIBLE. They say it is but seriously it ruins it. Your retina display will look like a 3Gs screen. However, the crystal film set from Power support is retina display compatible.

Ok so "If" you can get these on correctly the first time you apply them then they work great, however if you have to pull it up to realign it, it will get tons of bubbles that you can't get out.

Also apple will not install them or accept returns if the product doesn't work so keep that in mind. Wasted 50 bucks and bought them for a few people i know had iPhones we only got two protectors on without bubbles and aligned right.

Pass on this one. I feel ripped off.

    Not HD Compatible

    • Written by from Singapore

Always been a fan of the Power Support brand. Unfortunately, this products name is misleading as it does not seem to be compatible with the Retina screen. The anti glare feature significantly reduces the clarity of the retina display and makes the display look grainy.

In the end I had to remove it and buy the normal Power Support clear display instead which retains the clarity of the Retina screen. Only buy this product if you can accept a degraded display after application!!

    Air Pockets

A complete and total waste of money. I expect more of products sold in Apple stores. Air pockets all around the edge. Yes I did clean the screen with a lint free cloth. It was an unused iphone. Used the pre-installation film properly and fitted the film carefully and properly after removing the pre-installation film. The product just does not adhere to the edges of the phone. This will mean that the edges will snag and lift the whole film. I suggest Apple throw all of their stock to the garbage heap.

I could not believe how bad this product was! Did you know you will no longer see things in high def after installing it. I took it off because my screen looked like an iPhone 3gs.

Has an extra cut and also blurs clarity

I bought this thinking that Apple Store might have the best items stocked and also after reading the reviews but was completely disappointed with this purchase for two reasons:
    1. It has an extra cut at the top - in addition to one for camera and one for the earpiece. I am still wondering what is the logic for keeping that extra cut.
    2. The anti-glare sounds great in theory but this one has poor quality. It blurs the clarity of the beautiful iPhone and text is not at all fun to read.

I am looking for an alternative.
