You can't connect the USB dongle to Time Capsule. The USB port is purely for Printers and Hard Drives.
You don't say if you use a Mac, but if you do, you could create a mini wifi network by using the dongle with the Mac and enabling Internet Sharing in the Sharing Preferences. This would share the broadband from your dongle to any other wifi devices within range of your Mac.
This set up would also allow you to configure Time Capsule to join the wifi network created by your Mac and give you the back up, print and storage services that Time Capsule provides.- Answered by Nigel M

Does Time Capsule work with fiber optics internet connection?
My neighborhood will shortly be going to fiber optic internet connection. I am wondering if the Time Capsule would be a viable option for me to use for my router and backup?

Answer
Certainly. My verizon FiOS comes out into a standard Verizon supplied (coax) cable modem (free & included 802.11g wireless maybe they supply .n now?). I simply plugged the Time Machine (not the same as the Way Back Machine used by Sherman & Professor Peabody) into the cable modem/router with a short Ethernet cable & follow directions. I attach my big iMac with an Ethernet cable but wireless works fine too. Rename device setup password & good to go.
I set up all my clients to use the TM wifi cuz better. TM says switch from DHCP to NAT bridge mode. I may try later but prior described connection gives me fast Internet.- Answered by Richard M from Alexandria

Can you control the bandwidth of the guest network?
I share the internet with my neighbors and it always seems like they are slowing it down. If I disable the guest network the problem is solved. I want to control how much bandwidth they can use.

Can I stack the time capsule with my mac mini?
- Asked by Joseph G from Castro Valley

Best Answer
You could place the mini on top of the time capsule. The mini has a smaller profile than the time capsule so they don't technically stack (it really depends upon your definition of stacked (i.e., perfectly aligned form factor/dimensions).
Also, the chassis of the time capsule does throw a fair amount of heat so you'll want to have good ventilation when placing the mini on top of the TC.- Answered by Claudio S from Winnipeg

Connecting Time Capsule to ATT Uverse Router
What is the best (and easiest) way to connect a Tiime Capsule to the AT&T Uverse router and Time Capsule to my iMac (so, I can use Time Machine for backing up)? Can I also connect my HP priinter to the TC (I can connect via USB or wireless); which is the best route to go for that? Right now the HP is connected to my iMac via USB.

is the power only 100volt? Can I use a Time Capsule purchased in the USA(110volt) in Europe(220 volt)

Short answer: Yes.
Bought a the 2 TB model in the USA and am now happily using it in Europe.
The power supply is a universal one (110-240V). The only thing you need
is a plug adapter.
There is a slight chance of problems, since the allowed WiFi bands are
not identical in Europe and the USA, but so far I have not experienced any
problems.- Answered by Antonius V from Bethesda

how many computers can be used on one time capsule?

The limit is really based on how much needs to be backed up. The TC will let you know if you reach that limit. I Have 3 Mac's backing up to a 1TB dual band TC. And it all works fine.

Can Time Machine back up the same data twice in two drives for redundancy?
I own a Mac Pro with two 1 TB drives and a 1 TB Time Capsule.
I use one 1 TB for data in the Mac Pro
I use one 1 TB for Time Machine on the Mac Pro
I want to also use the 1 TB Time Capsule for the same backup for redundancy.
Is this possible?- Asked by Payam M from Houston

Hi,
There is currently no way to do backup automatically in the way you ask. You can however use the Time Capsule as the main backup source and then within Airport Utility->Manual Setup->Disks There is an 'Archive" option that allows you to do a one-click copy onto a USB external hard drive, but it is not automated.- Answered by Justin D from Londonderry

just got a Fitbit Aria scale. specs say it can work with wifi 802.11 b or g. will it work with the 803.11n time capsule?
- Asked by Arthur L from New York

Best Answer
The 802.11n standard requires that a given "wireless n" device be backward compatible with previous standards (802.11 a/b/g). Although I can't speak for any other unknown factors that may affect this situation, the TC should work fine with this device.

Does the Time Capsule replace a router for iMac's that are connected via ethernet, am I protected on the web... I get that I am protected via wireless

Answer
Yep, the NAT router/firewall works for both Ethernet and wireless. Note though that you really ought to be worrying about not running software and services you don't need, not running software from untrusted sources, and keeping your software up-to-date, rather than firewalls. Even without a firewall, your iMac is already quite hardy to network attacks and doesn't need a Time Capsule unless you actually want a backup and/or wireless device.

No. The Time Capsule is strictly a storage device, and doesn't run any software on it itself to do that. For that, you'd probably want to look into an Apple TV, which does exactly what you want.

Can I use Time Capsule as a storage device as well as backup for my iMac using Time Machine, or can I only use it to back up files with Time Machine?
I'm currently using a WD 500GB Drive, which has a habit of turning itself into a standby state despite preference settings keeping it always on, and I have to restart the drive every time this happens, which is an inconvenience when storing files and no storage device is found when saving. I want to replace the WD with a 2TB Time Capsule and use the Time Capsule as a storage device, as well as a back up device via Time Machine for my iMac.

"I want to replace the WD with a 2TB Time Capsule and use the Time Capsule as a storage device, as well as a back up device via Time Machine for my iMac."
You could arrange for such dual-purpose use of a Time Capsule, but the data you'd store independently on the Time Capsule would not be eligible to be backed up by the usual operation of Time Machine, so you'd have a risk of losing it.- Answered by Andrew H from Carmel
