does this new airport express support AirPrint?
- Asked by Stephen K from Boxford
- 12/06/2012

Best AnswerThe Airport Express does support wireless printing, but does not support "Airprint." Airprint is printing from an iOS device (iPhone, iPad, iPod). This device does not allow printing from an iOS device. It will only print from a PC or Mac. PC printing will require Bonjour for Windows.

I have a New Sony TV which has built in WiFi. Does the Airport extreme support streaming with this TV.
Have an older Airport Extreme, one band, 2ghz and it does not stream fast enough. Keeps loosing connection, has to stop and load the content.

can i use with sony laptops or hp laptops
I need a router that will work with apple ipad, sony vaio and hp laptop. Does apple have such a product?
- Asked by Marylou A from Espanola

AnswerYES - I recently upgraded to Apple airport extreme (extended with AP express in the living room). VERY seamless installation. On our home network, we have a MBP, Apple TV, Compaq laptop, Sony Vaio, HP laptop, Dell desktop, 2 HP desktops, and 3 Xbox's. However, we do not have an IPad (yet). Installation and network support are very equivalent throughout our home.
For any PC device, you will need to download and install "Bonjour". This will enable any of your "non-apple" devices to install and operate on your network.
Hope this helps!- Answered by Robert H. L from Apo

Best AnswerIf you have a modern time capsule that broadcasts simultaneous dual-band then you would have no need for an express unless you wish to extend your wireless network.

Best AnswerI don't really know what you mean. If you have wifi at home this router will work with it.
If you are talking about that the wifi is not compatible with your iphone, this router will work. This router works perfectly well with iphones, ipads, macs and pcs.- Answered by Sami C from Homebush West

Will the range on the new Airport Express be stronger than the previous model?
Due to my cable companies decision, my connection box & Airport Express is located in a closet. I sometimes struggle to get a signal everywhere in my condo, which is not very large to begin with.
- Asked by Dennis M from Bloomington
- 12/06/2012

Best AnswerYes and no. In a sense that it is dual band, you may be able to achieve greater range if your devices support dual bands. Otherwise there will not be a major noticeable difference.
If you are having range issues. I recommend purchasing an airport extreme to go in the closet then using your existing airport express to extend the network range.- Answered by Sean D from Tempe
