Does it work with iPhone 5?
I'm looking for a wireless speaker for my partner, and we both have iPhone 5's. I know Bose do one but that's beyond my current budget.

comparison of sb7200 vs sb7300
how would you compare the sound of the sb7200 vs sb7300 of the phillips shoqbox series??

Best AnswerI purchased both of these and played them side by side. The 7300 was maybe slightly better but not much. It is not like you are comparing 2 amazing stereo systems. They are limited by size so you have to keep that in mind. The extremely small sonic difference was overshadowed by the fact that the 7200 is much more solid in build. I take it everywhere i go. I set up a tailgate and hund this speaker inside of the 10'x10' canopy tent and everyone was amazed at how great it was. The beach, bathroom, by the pool and anywhere in-between the 7200 is the better buy. I gave the 7300 as a gift to a friend.

If I'm showing a film on my MacBook Air, can I connect this speaker to it and project the sound from the film to an audience of about 50 people?

Best AnswerYes you can use them and yes you can pair them up but...I have had some real problems trying to find a constant way to pair them up and then to the device that is sending the sound to them. If you follow the instructions it doesn't always work. When it does they sound awesome so I can say they are worth it if you do get them paired. But like I say it seems to be very difficult to create a same way to pair them up. But thats just me so if anyone has any suggestions please I would love to hear them.

can you pair the 2 speaker so that they stay paired when they are turned off, it's important to me since I'm blind

Best AnswerI do not think so. I have paired them and it works great and it is not difficult as i have read from others. I think that given your are blind the pairing, while cool, is more of a gimmick than practical. With a price tag of close to 400 for 2 you could get much better sound without the hassles of pairing problems. It is a great sturdy portable solution.

The Philips SB7200 is louder and has more bass, it does fill the room with sound, not as much as the Big Jambox but for a little lower price than the original jambox, in my opinion, it is better, there's also a Philips SB7300 series with a total of 4 speakers and 12w of total power compared to SB7200's 2 speaker with 8w total power but the 7300 series is not as rugged as the SB7200, hope this helps, check out the difference, go to google and look at the pics.

Answer
Battery is excellent, it does last the advertised 8 hours (I own one) and I am assuming that would be for Bluetooth considering the line in port is not the main selling feature.
