How well would this work in a car?
I would like to use this in my parents cars so that I can broadcast my music over bluetooth to the car's stereo without using radio frequency. I want to know how well this would work when plugged into the car stereo via a cassette adapter. This would allow me to control the audio and keep my iPod Touch in my holster without having to unplug an audio cord from it when I get out of the car as well as control the audio from the backseat when one of my parents is driving.
Also, does this have to be plugged in to work or does it have a battery?
I just want to know before I go spend $50 on it and then possibly find out that it doesn't work as well as I had hoped.- Asked by Joshua B from Waterford

Answer
Unfortunately it has to be selected every time you want to use it. I have it in he car and been very happy with it. The only thing is I have to manually select it every time I use it. Ultimately auto powered on without switch which it is and auto connect which it isn't would have made this perfect but there does not appear to be anything on the market. That does both.

Does it work with sound from the TV?
I have tried a few solutions to stream the audio of my TV to my Phone but most have issues.. Has anyone tried this device for this usage?
Basically plugging the 3.5mm jack output of the TV to the Belkin, and listen to the sound on the phone with a headset.
The major issue I usually find is a delay in sound versus the image.

Saw one in a shop today. It seems it does need to be plugged into the mains all the time. No use to me. Then main reason I wanted it is so that I can site my iPhone on the other side of the room from the line in socket, near a power point.

It needs an external powersource, does not run on batteries.
You would probably be better of with a cable or with an FM-transmitter. That way you can tune in your iDevice like any radiostation.- Answered by Gustaf O from Kalmar
