Why aren't there any AirPrint compatible printers recommended on the Apple site that are Laser & Color?
I'm starting to regret moving my business to all Apple products this week if my business is going to have to go back to the stone ages and only use inkjet printers if we want to print wirelessly from our macs and iPads. Any suggestions here are VERY appreciated!

airplay dropouts
if I purchase a new Airport Express, with 802.11n, to replace my older one, will that solve my problem with dropouts while I am streaming from my brand-new iMac, to my brand-new Airport Extreme 802.11n, to the Airport Express (and from there to my stereo)?
What I have my stereo plugged into now is an older A1264 Airport Express, S/N 6F822189ZP8. Since I installed my new Airport Extreme I've been getting intermittent dropouts that make trying to listen to music via WiFi pointless and frustrating. Before I installed the Airport Extreme I did not experience dropouts. Before that I had a much older Airport Extreme -- the dome-shaped one.
My iMac also connects with the Airport Extreme; that is, it is not hardwired to the router.
Thank you

Answer
This is a reply to Rick... I am sorry -- I have not been able to fix the problem. I'd spent a long time looking online before I posted my query, and one of the suggestions was that having WiFi that worked at both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz was the problem -- the idea was that sticking only to 2.4 GHz was the answer. Clearly that's not it. Other people have said that the only way to fix this is to hardwire (from the Airport Extreme) into the Airport Express. My understanding of what is happening is not sophisticated, but it seems that other WiFi signals in my neighborhood are causing the dropouts, although all of us have password-protected networks. The dropouts are worse in the evenings when more people are home. It also seems, sometimes, that connecting to a web page can cause a dropout. The next thing I'll try is buying a new Airport Express (so every component of my system is fully up to date), and if that does not work I guess I'll try hardwiring. --Scott

Why did Apple remove functionality from Airport utility?
Airport utility 5 had all sorts of monitors and filters. You could see who was on your wireless and do mac filtering. Airport utility 6 removes all that for no reason I can see. How can we get that functionality back?

Accessing iTunes and iPhoto from Time Capsule. Which Mac should I get?
My iTunes and iPhoto libraries are housed in Time Capsule. Thus far, this has been very labor-intensive for my 4.5 year old Macbook. I plan to buy an new Mac but unable to decide which machine: 13" Air (possibly w/ 8GB RAM) or 13" Pro? Can Mac Air handle accessing these files easily with its limited processor? thank you

Answer
Adding routers to your current cable setup will not increase your bill. You are just extending the range of the signal.

I have this and an Air Port. Do I need both? How do I check this hard drive for backup info on my old laptop?
I have the WD 2TB My Book for Mac Desktop Hard Drive. I bought this a long time ago. I have a new laptop since then (Mac Book Air) as well as an "Air Port". I'm reasonably sure that I've backed some version of my old laptop on this Drive. I may have files or pictures that I'd like to have back. Not sure how to get to them. If/when I do get to any old info I have, will I need this Drive? Or will my Air Port suffice?
Thanks in advance for any and all help you can give.

Should I get an Airport Express or an Airport Extreme?
What are the differences in performance between the Airport Express and the Airport Extreme?

Best Answer
I have both and performance is excellent for both but Extreme seems to have a better range. USB port is expandable (with a hub) on the Extreme whereas it isn't with the Express. The Extreme is worth the extra $ in my opinion.

Can i pull video from camcorders directly onto iPad for editing with pinnacle studio
Would like to transfer camcorder footage (Digital 8, Mini Dv, VHS -C etc ) to iPad. Can this be done? Are there special adapters required and what are they? I know a dazzle adapter is required for PC. Also Pinnacle Studio have just released a movie editing app for iPad - Is this any good? I know Final Cut Pro is the standard for iMac & Macbook Pro, just wondering about the iPad. Any comments/experiences welcome - Thank you.
