What is the big difference between iphone 4s and 5
- Asked by Rajesh G from Chennai
- 25/10/2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerHmmm.... actually not much of a big difference in my opinion. The differences are as follows:
1) a longer screen display.
2) new lightning connector
3) Better processor
4) Minor design alterations
5) LTE capability
6) Uses a nano sim
7) Better facetime camera
8) New earphones.
Basically, just some minor adjustments and tweaks. If you are strict on budget, the 4S would suffice. If you are not, go for the 5 instead. The 5 has been proven to perform faster than the 4S due to the better processor.- Answered by Sia C from Klang

how does renting a movie on itunes work?
I don't want to pay for the movie because it won't stay on my phone for very long. How does it work to rent a movie. Will it download on my phone for a short time?
- Asked by Kristi B from Flagstaff
- 13/07/2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerWhen you rent a movie on iTunes you have 30 days to start it and once you start it you have 24 hours. If you download it to a computer and want to put it on another device you do it normally.

What is lock symbol with arrowed circle around it, right hand corner top; 4i phone
- Asked by Kathleen W from Boalsburg
- 2/07/2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerThat symbol means that the rotation (orientation) lock is active.
To turn it off, click the home button twice, quickly, to display the multitasking tray. Then swipe from left to right to bring up your music player controls. You will see that same icon at the left of the player. Tap it to turn orientation lock off.- Answered by Volker C from Pompano Beach

Can Same charger be used for iPad and iPod and iPhone
- Asked by Arthur B from Stow
- 17/04/2012

- Asked about: iPad
Best AnswerNo.
The iPad (third and fourth gen) uses a 12 watt charger. The 12 watt charger will charge all iOS devices (All iPads, all iPods, all iPhones - just plug in the right cable - 30 pin or Lightning).
The iPad and iPad 2 use a 10 watt charger. This will charge iPad, iPad 2 and all iPhones and iPods with the right cable attached (30 pin or lightning). It will not effectively charge a New iPad (third and fourth gen).
The iPhone and iPods use a 5 watt charger. This will charge all iPhones and iPods with the right cable attached (30 pin or lightning). It will not effectively charge any iPad.
Basically, one can charge any device with the 12 watt charger as it is powerful enough to charge the most demanding and least demanding iOS devices.
One can purchase a 12 watt or 5 watt adaptor at the Apple Store or Apple Store OnLine. Don't worry, all the new adaptors look different from each other so you won't grab the wrong one on your way out the door for vacation!
The lower wattage adaptors are best suited for the devices with which they came.
Rule of Thumb: A lower wattage adaptor will NOT charge a device that demands a higher wattage adaptor but it is perfectly safe to plug in a higher wattage adaptor into your devices that use lower wattage units.
Please note that the iPod shuffle uses a special mini jack/USB cable - not a 30 pin or Lightning.- Answered by Sassy S from Kansas City

- Asked about: Lightning to USB Cable (1 m)
Best AnswerDisappointingly it is only USB 2.0. Says so right there in the details. I was hoping for a lightning to thunderbolt cable or at least USB 3.0. What's the point of a new dock if you can't at least get much faster transfer speeds?

Can I use the same charger for the ipad mini and iphone 5?
- Asked by Lorrain L from Sunny Isles
- 6/06/2013
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerNO ! you cannot use the same charger !
yes it is correct that they both use the Lightening cable to connect but the difference is that the IPhone Charger is a 5W 1Amp charger and a I Pad charger is a 10W 2amp charger !
if you have a I Pad mini Charger you can also use it for the IPhone 5 but not the reverse !
Usually when you use a IPhone 5 Charger with a I Pad Mini it does charge but really slowly !- Answered by Rushad V from Chicago

should i get a 32gb or 64gb iphone?
- Asked by Palani Kumar C from Ipoh
- 11/10/2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerWhether you get a 16. 32, or 64 GB iPhone depends on how much music and how much the tunes are compressed, how many videos, how many pictures, and how many apps you will have on the device.
For most people the key factor will be the number of tunes at what bit rate you have. For example on my iPhone using the lowest bit rate, 128 kbps, 5,295 tunes use 21.3 GB of storage, at 192 kbps it would take 25.4 GB, and the highest bit rate 256 kbps bumps the storage to 29.4 GB. Using the Apple headphones my hearing is not good enough to discern an appreciable difference in sound quality between 128 kbps and 256 kbps. However if you were playing through a high quality sound system or very high quality headphones you would likely hear a noticeable difference.
A full length movie will take a little under 2 GB of storage, but thanks to iCloud storage, photos end up taking little storage on the iPhone. Storage required by apps is dependent on the particular app but the 91 apps installed on my iPhone occupy 8.6 GB of storage.
Only you know what your habits are and only you can judge how much storage you need. My wife just upgraded to an iPhone 5 and went from a 64 GB model to the 32 GB version after looking at how much storage she is actually using (only about 12 GB). I will be upgrading Monday, and I am going to stick with the 64 GB model. In truth I only use about half of the storage, but I like to have a lot of "headroom" for expansion if I need it.- Answered by Joe B from Fort Worth
