Should i get 32gb or 64gb ipad mini?
I have 64 movies and 75 books and some games

Best AnswerI opted for the 32gb model. I have the 64gb iPhone 4s and I have never even come close to filling it up. I have 20 movies, my entire iTunes library (but set to sync at 128 kbps) and tons of apps and I still have 11 gigs to play with. The whole point is to use iTunes to keep your content fresh so you don't leave the same old movies on the device at the same time, you sync what you want. Plus you get 5 gigs additional in the cloud so really your 32 gig is 37 gigs. I think you should save the extra $100 and invest in a nice case, an extra charging cable and whatever else you need. All just my opinion but buy what you want :)

AnswerSorry...no! I asked the same question today, with support and they said there isn't anyway to upgrade your ipad ...except to buy a new one. Wish they would fix this...I would like to upgrade from 64 to 128. Glad other people also see a need to upgrade.

should i get a 16gb or 32 gb ipad mini
I am and athletic trainer. I'm looking at getting a mini for injury reporting and resources. I would only put movies on if I was traveling. No music since I have a device already for that. Just trying to figure out what size storage I need for the apps and injury reporting.

Best AnswerIf you are planning on putting lots of movies, I would suggest a 32gb. If you would not use many apps, and not many movies, 16 gb. It really depends. You wont be able to use the whole memory because some of it is used for the Operating System.

Should I get a 16gb or 32 gb?
I am an athletic trainer and planning on using it to have some resources at my hands, along with making injury reports. Only planning on putting movies on if we are traveling. Not going to put any music on it because I have other devices for that. Mainly just anatomy apps, injury reporting, and a few games.

Best AnswerI have just purchased the 16 gb and went on a cruise, after videoing and taking pictures, my ipad was full, I am disappointed that I didn't pay the extra and get the 32gb. I personally advise you to get the 32gb.

Ipad mini 64 or Ipad 4 128?
I have a Mac Book Pro for personal use, but I am now traveling frequently and need a way to pass the time on flights. I want to upgrade from my tablet ( I read a LOT) to something I can use for music and movies in an easy, no fuss way. I don't want to be greedy, but I don't want to feel the need to upgrade in 6 months. Help?

AnswerIPad 128GB all the way. I made this decision after purchasing 3 HD movies on my 64GB iPad. But I couldn't download them all because I ran out of space. For the extra $100 64 x 2 is the way to go. Just got mine, downloaded everything and I have 55GB to spare.

Best AnswerSame dilemma. I got an ipad 2 mainly because of ibooks. I have no problem reading even my 3-column books. My only issue is it's size and weight. I wonder if I would still have the same reading experience with the mini. I hope someone shares his experience.

should I get a 64 gb or the new 128 gb - I'm retired and will use for reading, movies, surfing the net~this will be my 'purchase of a lifetime'!

Best AnswerIf you get the 64gb ipad you could get about 60 videos (1hr long each) or double that for the 128gb ipad however I am using the ipad mini and my friend has the new ipad and we both agree the ipad mini is better the screen size isn't a lot smaller its mainly the margin round the sides that makes the ipad mini a lot more compact and smaller. The ipad mini has a 7.9 inch screen while the new ipad has a 9.7 inch screen and also I find you can get a longer battery life out of the mini as it does have to power such Abigail screen as you were saying about videos I if you want them downloaded get the highest possible storage but if you just want to stream them of the Internet on sites such as Netflix and love film.com the 64gb model should be ok there is also a 3G (cellular) ipad it would cost an extra 100 pounds but if you want to surf when on the move it would be worth it. Also the ipad mini is a lot lighter and thinner. I hope I have been some help

Does reading through ibooks or Kindle for iPad use data?
I am looking to buy an iPad mini or iPad and want to use it for apps for our preschooler, reading, and surfing the web.
If you are reading using either iBooks or the Kindle app - is that considered to be using data? Or is just using stored content on the device? I am trying to figure out how much GB I would need to get per month through our carrier.- Asked by Erica S from Ocala

AnswerIt does not use data unless you download the books away from wifi. Once they are downloaded they are stored on the iPad and is not considered using data.

Best Answer
No, but some companies make wifi hard drives, like Segate, that let you put data on them with a computer. Then you can wirelessly connect the drive to you iPad and you can see the content on the drive. HOWEVER, with these drives, you can only store data, like music, photos, and videos. NO APPS. YOU ALSO CANNOT MOVE DATA OFF OF THE iPAD AND ONTO THE DRIVE. Only from the drive to the iPad.

High School student: MacBook Air or iPad 3?
Heeeey, I've used my iPad 1 for a while now for school (it's getting VERY slow) so i think it's time to change. I will need something that can be used as a work machine as i go to the library in the city after school before going home. I've found that my ipad has been a bit clumsy to write essays do powerpoints etc, however this may be because it's very old in apple terms hahaha. This doesn't need to be my primary machine as i have an imac at home, however i get most of my work done in the library (i cant concentrate on my work at home) i also like to get work done whenever i'm travelling for that matter. i do use the ipad as a personal device a lot and i can see myself using the 3g capabilities heaps! (no 4g in australia) I have enjoyed the long battery life of the ipad and the very portable feel about it. Our school also has a tablet program (they give you androids, i replaced those no-goes with my ipad) so i've used it for that as well (textbooks etc), i've seen people in my school using airs though. Advice appreciated :)

Best AnswerYou will find the Air much more sutible since it has a faster processor and more memory. The buillt in keyboard is also a plus and not much bulkier that the IPad. Bigger screen also helpful.

Best AnswerIt depends on the movies. Keep in mind that when it comes to HD Movies, 1 hour is approximately equal to 1GB. About 2/3 of that for standard definition.
