What is the best replacement for the power cord for a PowerBook G4. The old one was A1021 65W
I would prefer to have a long power cord that plugs into the wall, then to the transformer rather than plug the transformer into the wall. Looks like the replacement you recommend is 85W and does not have a cord.

Are the 85W Magsafe Power Adapter and the Power Adapter, 85 W, Energy Star the same thing? Is it (Energy Star) a chinese version of the Magsafe?
I am from Brazil, and my Magsafe does not work anymore for it was exposed to the hot sun for too long (I guess). And while searching for a new one, I noticed that the prices are quite different. The description of the cheapest power adapter was that one (Power Adapter, 85 W, Energy Star), from an autorized dealer. Even so, I am worried.

how do you know which adapter you have based on the numbers on the adapter?
I thought the size of the 60W and 85W was different, the 85W being larger, but was just told that this might not be the case. I got my MacBook Pro in Sept 2007 and the square adapter was included. How do I know if its a 60W or 85W?
