It was bought late 2006, I believe, and the original battery finally kicked the bucket.
The model number on the original battery says: "A1175 10.8 V"

what is the difference between batteries models MA348G and MA348LL/A
i need to replace the battery of my macbook pro, indicates that the A1175 model, but is currently on the market two models that do not know what to buy if MA348G or MA348LL / A, urges that need to refer me as soon replace.

recycle battery
I purchased a battery replacement at the Apple store for my MacBook Pro and was wondering if there was somewhere I could send the old dead battery for recycling. Does the Apple store accept old MacBook Pro Apple batteries?

just bought macbook pro 15
I received 60 watt power adapter with this, but my older macbook pro 1211 was sent with 85wall power adapter..When I look for replacement adapter, all references to 15inch macbook pros indicate 85watt adapters....
Can someone tell me what is going on? Is there a place in the Apple site where I can find out about what is different between 1172, 1211, 1286, etc????
If I received a 60 watt adapter, is that an error and do I need to send it back to Apple for 85Watt???
