how well will this stay attached to the window and how well does it hold the phone?

I have had this device for about six months or so.

It has never self-detached from the windshield. It holds the phone very well. It can be a challenge touching areas on the outer edges (sides). This has only been an issue when I run trapster in portrait mode and I want to chage settings or play music within that app.

It also comes with a vent mount. I prefer the windshield mount.
