How long does it take to download Lion?

    Depends on your connection. Its about 3.7GB so on a normal 8Mbit broadband connection it would take about 1 hour and 20 minutes to download if you weren't using the connection for other things. Even on the slowest broadband connection in the uk it would be done within 18 hours (512Kbit).

  • Over broadband high speed & using my Apple Airport wireless router, the install on my MacBook Pro took less than 40 minutes. Just make sure you have the most updated version of snow leopard before starting,
