The new plugs in Italy are the standard 2-prong Euro plug...it will work in them. It will not work in the old 3-prong plugs without a local adapter. The older style plug is getting rarer and rarer.

  • We just returned from Milan, Venice and Bellagio (Lake Como).
We stayed in moderately priced hotels.
NONE had the 2 pronged plugs.
Luckily, we had been warned, so we had several 3-prong adapters with us.
Take note-for a small investment, you will ensure you can charge all your devices!
