Will it work for a mac book pro?

Yes, it will work fine with a MBP.
You can also configure the sensitivity the same way you do the touch pad on the MBP.

Yes it does! I just got a new Mac Pro less then 2 weeks ago and I just got my new mouse today and it works great.

Yes, it is still Mac OS, so it should work as long as it has Bluetooth and Mac OS
