  17 inch: 0.98 inch (2.50 cm)
  
  Width:
  15 inch: 14.35 inches (36.4 cm)
  17: 15.47 inches (39.3 cm)
  
  Depth:
  15 inch: 9.82 inches (24.9 cm)
  17 inch: 10.51 inches (26.7 cm)
  
  And of course, the 15 inch, measures 15 inches diagonally across the screen, and the 17 inch measures 17 inches diagonally across the screen.
