Completely redesigned, the Beats Studio over-ear headphones are even lighter, stronger, more comfortable and more precise than the original world-famous design. They deliver powerful, re-engineered sound alone with Adaptive Noise Canceling, a 20-hour rechargeable battery and remote talk controls.
Feel your music
The Beats Acoustic Engine gives you an intimate, real encounter with your music, while the signature DSP software delivers the exact emotional experience that Dr. Dre, Jimmy Iovine and some of the music industry's greatest rock, hip-hop, pop, electronic and R&B producers want you to feel.
Put the world on mute
Silence the noise from your daily commute or the drama from your loud neighbours with Beats' no-compromise dual-mode Adaptive Noise Canceling (ANC). When you're listening to music, ANC automatically strikes a balance between your audio and the world outside. And if you want to use the headphone just to cancel external noise, ANC-only mode automatically increases the level of noise cancellation to make things even quieter.
A 20-hour rechargeable battery makes sure your vibe keeps going. To prevent wasting energy, the auto on/off feature turns off when you unplug, and the visible Battery Fuel Gauge lets you see at a glance how much juice is available. Plus, you can charge the new Studio via standard micro USB adapter almost anywhere.
Lighter, stronger and more comfortable
When Beats re-imagined these legendary headphones, they designed it like a beautiful sports car and made disciplined choices. They streamlined the new Beats Studio with fast curves, smooth surfaces and no visible screws. It now weighs 13 percent less than the original and has a lighter, stronger and more comfortable headband. The ear cups are softer and there's an ergonomic bellow to create a flexible, custom fit for every head shape, so you can keep your music all to yourself.
- Beats Acoustic Engine uses precision sound to deliver music the way artists want it to be heard
- Streamlined design enhances fit, distributes weight and adds comfort
- Adaptive Noise Canceling blocks out the world in two modes
- Ear cups for sound isolation
- 20-hour rechargeable battery with auto on/off and a visible battery fuel gauge

The world's best headphones.

I would recommend these if you listen to R&B, Hip-Hop/Rap, and/or Pop music. Adaptive noise cancelling works very well to block out sound and now I can listen to my music in noisy conditions without damaging my ears. Everything about these headphones is such nice quality and I definitely look forward to them being my headphones for the next couple of years. …

Look Nice but Low Quality

I was kind of iffy getting noise cancelling headphones due to the high cost and the fact that I did not realy need the feature. At first I was pretty happy with them even though I could only use them about 2-3 times a week. Then finally I brought them for a long day of shopping at the mall with my gf and I noticed a loud clicking noise coming from the right ear. It turned out to be a problem with the noise cancelling and they were sent in for repair. Overall the process took about a month and I had to pay for the initial shipping. I do not think headphones at this cost should break that easily in about a month of little to no use and then cost the customer more money.
All in all these headphones look nice and they sound ok but I do not think the build quality is top notch... …

I tried sony, skulls, etc.. and I have to say the beats build quality is top notch! others were cheap plastic too flexible I felt like if I slept with them on I'd break them. I've slept with my Studios on my ears and I don't have to worry about breaking them tossing and turning. The bass is lower from what I understand to me its perfect, I can hear the mids, and highs really well I believe these headphones are great for EDM, Hip Hop definitely, pop, r&b... I don't think heavy metal works well with these IMO too much highs... Usually people that bash these about price is people that really can't afford them. It's no different than the android users bashing iOS because they deep down can't afford the nicer tech. I am a DJ and to be honest the industry does like these don't be fooled. Whether it's mainstream or not to you I wouldn't pass these up! They are quality equipment to have and a great investment. Only complaint is you have to charge them... but the battery lasts 20+ hours and it takes literally 20-30 mins to charge. I love mine had them for 4 months. I suggest staying away from the glossy black if you don't mind fingerprints.. wished I waited I love the matte look on the black and grey.... …

I was pleasantly surprised when I put them on because the background music that was playing in the store magically faded away. I didn't have any music playing in the headphones yet, and they were still able to block out the background noise of the busy apple store. I would say that these headphones have an impressive noise canceling technology that would suite your needs well. …
