Well, This is not as well known as others, such as Jabra etc. I found no reviews on this before buying it , but after looking at t Well, This is not as well known as others, such as Jabra etc. I found no reviews on this before buying it , but after looking at the specs I decided to give it a try. I tried many speakerphones including just using my Macbook Pro, Jabra etc The issue with all of them is, they have 1-2 Mics tops. the Philips has 4 mics!! They work excellent for someone who is required to be on many conference calls, but is naturally a quieter person (me). I tried several quicktime recordings and compared this to Jabra, and the Native Macbook Pro mics, this was the most amplified and featured the best noise cancellation, even when speaking in a very conversational tone. Also, it is tiny, about the size of an AppleTV, this was important for travel.

I also like the fact, I can switch it manually from USB to bluetooth. which means I can leave it plugged in to my Macbook Pro , but answer a call via Bluetooth on my iPhone, others do not do this. Once they are plugged in via USB, it overrides BT. I also tried a FaceTime Audio call to experience the "HD Audio", It was nothing short of fantastic, literally like someone is sitting beside you. ( but you can only expect that with HD audio) Honestly the hardest thing to get used to with this, is NOT speaking up, because you do not need to.

The ONLY downside to this device, is the price. It's pricey!. but if you're like me with 4-6 hours of meetings per day, it's totally worth it. I would rather pay $20.00 more for 8x the quality. because after trying others, it IS that much better , i compared some audio recordings in quicktime to a Jabra SPEAK, and Macbook pro native Mic. this is hands down, better audio quality, Better noise cancelling due to the multiple mics. etc.

The review posted before me was also duplicated on Amazon so I'm guessing that those reviews are fake. This speaker phone is terrible. Easy set up, however as soon as you connect it sounds worse than an iPhone 5s speaker and mic. wouldn't recommend this item at all. returned it. very sad.

The four mics des I have tried Jabra before, however, the sound quality of both speakers and mics of Philips perform better to me. The four mics design makes it has no "blind spots" on the conference table. Besides, the speakers deliver the speech of the speakers just like they are sitting in front of you!

Indeed, I use it most as a BT speaker to connect my iPhone 5S for Spotify. The sound quality is stunning! It beats my previous BT speaker. Now I use it all the time.

    Pros
    Long-enough battery life
Great design, much better than Jabra I would say
The "functionable" noise & echo cancellation feature

    Cons
The price is comparatively higher than other brand I tried before, but, I'd be okay to pay more for such quality

The "speaker" function works great and I was able to distinctly hear the three other callers. I was able to walk around during the call and the other callers later commented that they did not notice any difference. In terms of the "microphone" function, the other callers later told me they were able to hear me clearly (except for a few minor hiccups). Overall great quality and easy to charge. The travel case is an added plus!

The intention of the I have a few conference calls a week and have been using the conference speaker for a little over a month.

The intention of the speaker was to be able to join into conference calls when i am onsite at a customer location when traveling or when I am working from home.

To date I have found the device to be very good, sound quality for pickup and speaker is as almost good as the polycom system in the office. Given the office system several thousand dollars the sound quality is remarkable, beats using the iPhone speaker or headsets for conference calls.

I haven't bothered with the Phillips conference app as the iPhone group calling management is very good.

all in all I am very pleased
