I wear it everyday and nights since about 3 weeks. The accuracy is correct - not perfect but I was not having so high expectations for a gadget I keep in my pocket. I like the fact that you can charge it and it's really the one reason why I choose this one instead of any other cheaper pedometer. What's really bugging me is that it's 10 times more expensive than a normal pedometer… The website is nice for keeping track of your activity but *spoiler!* you have to pay even more to access all the features. I feel like a company must give you something that's actually worth your money before asking you for more. They lost me on that one and I won't be buying from them anymore. …

There seems to be endless problems with accuracy, particularly around when driving. Apparently I climb 33 flights of stairs yesterday....I think not. Yesterday it recorded how I had a restless nights sleep but it was sitting on a counter in another room all night!!
The help team at FitBit have been responsive but other than suggesting rebooting and telling me how I can edit out whenever I drive, they have been unable to assist.
I have no confidence in the data recorded. …

drop it in your pocket, tuck it in your sock, hook it on your belt - no matter, the accuracy of steps is pretty good. Take time on the web profile to record your stride length and the distance you walk/run are accurate. Remember to add activities such as driving because your steps occasionally count up as does your stairs climbed. Add start time and duration and it works out the rest. Do remember to take it out your pocket on the beach on holiday! Do check your pockets before doing the laundary!
my first bit was lost on a beach on holiday. It's replacement has thus far been through two spin cycles, and had a car drive over it. Battered dented and falls apart if not in the silicon pocket, but it's still going strong. A tough little gizmo that help keeps you motivated.
