XtremeMac InCharge x2 Charging Station review
I have been looking at this charger off and on for a while. A little skeptical until I ordered, received, and started using it.
Pros:
Relatively small footprint restricted to the largest device(s) being charged.
Enough power to charge two iPads at the same time.
The base weight and "Tip Factor" was a major concern. The base has enough weight to eliminate my worries of a "Tip Factor" for iPad and iPhone docking for normal use. We do not have 2 iPads at this time so I am unable to 'weigh in' on their stability on this charger.
Back rest Adjustment. I docked The Wife's iPad (with a thick cover) and a iPhone4S (Rubber cover) with no problems after adjusting the back rests for each properly. The back rest adjustment locks in place for future docking of each device.
Charge indicator shows the docked device is fully charged and only active for the device being charged.
Cons:
Price. I know, Welcome to Apple. No need to send tissues my way. It just seems this unit could have been made available to consumers for $20-$30 less and the store would have encountered intermittent back-orders. Just being honest... I feel many consumers are going to "pass" on this product based on its price. …- Written by Greg R from Galena

Disappointed
I purchased this item to hold my iPhone and iPad (both in cases). Even with the slide adjusted there was not enough room to fit t he iPad on the mount with it's case. With the iPhone, there was enough room to fit it on the mount with the case but the charging piece on the stand simply did not come up high enough and the bottom of the case prevented the iPhone from being charged as the metal connector did not reach far enough.
I did try both the iPhone and the iPad without their cases on the stand and it worked nicely however it did not satisfy my goal of not having to remove them from their cases every time I need to charge them.
I'm sorry this item did not work out as it would have been a nice and convenient product and I will be returning it to Apple. …- Written by Allison T from Los Angeles

Lacks greatness
I thought that this would be the perfect solution for Ipad2 and Ipod touch. The Ipad section works great, however, i cannot get t he Ipod touch to charge. Somewhat disappointed. However, this works fine for the standard Ipod. …

Dont buy
Ever wondered if the people who design and manufacture items actually use the product or test it before it goes into production.
Yes the charger works, but is it good. NO
Look at the pictures of the back support for the IPAD, what planet where theses designers on when they made it so short. You cant fit devices on if they have covers. How hard would it have been to make the back support higher and removable with a slot in it so you could slide it backwards to allow it to fit devices with covers. Took me 5 minutes to draw something up thats 100 times better than this charger. Another terrible product from Apple …- Written by Trevor E from Wodonga

Got it in blacker?
It would be a much nicer product if it came in classic black - no grey highlights and no standing-out-like-a-sore-thumb-branding. And if it were cheaper - $89 seems a little steep for what this is. …

Great duo dock charger.
The dock is great!!! it indeed charges each port with 10W. It is not spilt. the build is great.
my only complaint is that the ba ck stand to suport your devices seems small and when placing the ipad on it you get a sense of fear that it will snap teh connector right off. but the back support is firm and does its job.
Also, for those with iphone 5's, i bought the adapter 30 pin to lighting. and i will say this about my experiences with it.
my otter box case will not fit with the adapter so i gotta take the case off.
Also, when putting the adapter, the adapter is the height of the back support, so when you place your iphone on it, your iphone is literally almost resting on nothing, which causes the phone to slightly bend back. but so far nothing has happened.
Overall im happy with the product, perhaps teh next version XtremeMac could increase the size of the back support. …- Written by Jonathan L from Whittier
