Connect notebook and desktop systems to a Fibre Channel SAN at native Fibre Channel speeds using a Thunderbolt port.

SANLink* offers dual 4Gbit/s Fibre Channel ports that auto negotiate 1-, 2- or 4-Gbit/s FC connectivity and is compatible with Apple 4Gbit/s SFP-SFP cables as well as optical SFPs with optical cabling. The SANLink adapter runs at full-duplex bandwidth over a single Thunderbolt connection and delivers full native FC speeds. Dual Thunderbolt I/O ports allow SANLink to daisychain up to a total of six Thunderbolt devices, including products such as PROMISE Pegasus Thunderbolt RAID storage systems, Apple Thunderbolt Displays, and Mini DisplayPort devices.

SANLink enables any system with Thunderbolt I/O technology—such as the MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iMac, or Mac mini—to connect to the Fibre Channel SAN. SANLink is a fully qualified solution for Mac OS X and Xsan. Now, any system can connect or act as Xsan server without system type limitations. SANLink is the perfect qualified companion for use with PROMISE VTrak x10 and x30 series Fibre Channel RAID subsystems, as well as other industry-standard Fibre Channel enabled storage devices.

Simple and elegant in design, SANLink delivers an out-of-the-box solution, requiring zero software install and working simply by plugging SANLink into a Thunderbolt port and power adapter.
