Is there anyway to connect a lightning connector to a 30 pin connector? I just bought an iPod dock & my 4th generation iPod touch isn't compatible.

My friend just bought a brand new iPod dock to replace my other one that they broke. She bought is a newer version of the one that broke; the only problem is, is that when checking to see if my new purchase had all of the qualities I wanted it to, she failed to see if it was compatible with my current iPod (4th generation iPod touch). My iPod is rather new and I'd really rather not have to go and buy a new one to fit my new dock. I am hoping there is an adapter or some sort of accessory I can purchase to help solve this problem without needing to send the dock back or purchase a new iPod.

transferring songs from a computer to classic model

I'm not an ipod user yet but trying to work out the best one for me.
How do I get my music on and off a classic or touch model as there is no sd card slot.
Micro sd card slot would of been ideal.

Is there a way to configure the iPod to list a band's albums in chronological order by original release date, instead of by alphabetical title?

For example, if I want to listen to The Beatles, I would like to scroll through their albums in the order they were originally released. "Please Please Me" (1963) would show up first, and "Let It Be" (1970) would show up last.
