No. Description says that only iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S will work on this accessory. iPod Touch (4th Gen.) of yours would NOT work.

CORRECTION. it will work on the iPod 4th gen I got it for that and it works perfect. I don't know about sound bc I haven't tried that yet but I know it charges
