    not the adapter's fault

    Just because you bought a little piece of plastic to hold up your iPod, doesn't make the 5th Gen. nano compatible with your devices. and I'm glad it's a 3 pack, i lost the one that came with my iPod.

    I just received the adapter this evening, plugged it into my dock, and away it went! Soooo pleased, especially after reading the previous reviews and not expecting much. BTW, my dock is a Memorex foldable travel speaker...

    Still won't play or charge my nano

    My daughter's nano still won't play or charge on her docking station. This adapter didn't help at all.

    My new nano still won't play on either of my sound docks

    Sure, the nano fits physically, thanks to the adapter, but it still won't play on either of my sound docks. I've read through many forums on Apple's website and on others and this seems to be a universal problem. So far I haven't found a solution other than buying a new sound dock. This is sad because, A) I don't feel like shelling out another few hundred dollars and, B) I LOVE my retro-looking Specktone sound dock that worked beautifully with my old ipod.

    Perfect fit, just got me both the new nano and the adaptor. A little hustle with the dock and the adaptor was in! Works fine for me!
