Should I get iPad mini or iPad with Retina Display?
I like the iPad Mini because how small it is and it seams light and also the price is cheaper but I also want to buy the iPad with Retina Display because it's bigger and also it has the a6 chip.
What do you think I should buy?
Thank you very much!!- Asked by Nader H from Concord

Best AnswerI think the answer depends on you if you want something small to carry around then Ithe mini would be the best but it for something that you're mostly going to use it home I go with the iPad with the Retina display. If you don't mind carrying it of course the iPad with the retina display can't beat that.

Does The iPad mini Have Retina Display?
It' said it had the same display as an ipad 2 so I was wondering if that meant that it didn't have retina display

Best AnswerThe iPad mini does not feature a retina display unfortunately. Retina displays use more power than normal resolution screens (the reason the iPad 3 gets so warm) - so the mini would have had reduced battery life or bigger batteries that would have made the tablet thicker and heavier if it had a retina display.
Hopefully the iPad mini 2 will address this disappointing omission.- Answered by Ashley C

- Asked about: Apple TV
Best AnswerYou do not need a cable to connect your iPad mini to Apple TV. Just download the Remote App from App Store and while your iPad Mini and Apple TV are on the same network, you can control Apple TV from your iPad MIni.
It is very useful, as the Ipad screen becoes a giant Trackpad for Apple TV and you can type using the on screen keyboard.- Answered by Oguz A from Fairfax

My company would like to use facetime as a customer service tool, what would be the best ipad this?
We would like to give our customers the option to see our products and speak to a real person who can answer any question they may have about the product.
The use of the device will be purely for facetime (and possibly skype),
We would like to know which ipad would best suit us?- Asked by Robert J

AnswerTo achieve this, you will need an iPad 2, New iPad, or iPad with Retina Display. Also, I would personally use Skype, because it is compatible with almost every computer and mobile device. FaceTime is only available on Apple devices. Even if you do use Skype, you will need an iPad as I mentioned above. I would suggest a 16GB New iPad (3rd Generation). I believe that they will still sell them at Best Buy. The color (White or Black) is up to you, and so is the case. I hope that will be a successful tool for your business!

Should i get a 32gb or 64 gb ipad?
- Asked by Anthony D S from Brisbane
- Sep 23, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerAs you may have guessed; it depends on what you use it for. However, that being said; for the most part I believe that you should buy the most memory that you can afford. Especially when you consider that the difference in double the memory in this case is only $100.00. If you have previously owned an iPad prior to the retina display, whatever you had on your device, since the New iPad is retina, the applications have been optimized to take advantage of the retina display which equates to larger applications. This means that even if you don't add any additional apps other than the ones you previously had, the amount of memory needed will be increased to support the optimization of the apps to work with the retina display. Flexibility is key, and 64 GB gives you that. Another way of looking at it is: As my mother used to say: "Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it." So, 64 GB is my recommendation. Flexibility.

what is the difference between the ipad third generation and the ipad fourth generation
I bought the ipad third generation and less than a year later the fourth gen was released, and the biggest difference i could tell without doing too much digging was that they have different connectors, 30-pin for the third gen and lightning for the fourth gen, is this all that there was?

Which choice is best for a high school student: the Macbook Air and iPad 4th generation or the Macbook Pro and iPad Mini?
I have just started high school this year and have been doing so well that my parents had decided to get me better electronics for my school needs. I have a budget and so I had to choose between the two above choices. I've been having such a hard time choosing because there are just too many factors too consider; I want a great Mac that can last me 'till the end of high school and an iPad I can use everyday for things like games, music, emailing, facebook and movies but mostly for reading and school (textbooks, etc...) Please help me choose!!!

Best AnswerOk,
I would DEFINITLY go with the macbook pro and iPad mini since one is kinda big and one is kinda small. Also, remember that the macbook air is REALLY light and it doesn't take discs. Also, there was this story of a stupid guy who threw his macbook air out because it was so light. NEVER do that. That would be terrible.
So ipad mini:
Smaller
easier to carry
iPad with Retina display
retina display
faster
bigger screen
Mac Air:
light
can go REALLY small
Mac pro: (I would suggest the one with retina display
retina display (if wanted)
takes discs
not as light and easy to break
if heavier not as easy to break- Answered by Mariah L

should i get a 16gb or 32 gb ipad mini
I am and athletic trainer. I'm looking at getting a mini for injury reporting and resources. I would only put movies on if I was traveling. No music since I have a device already for that. Just trying to figure out what size storage I need for the apps and injury reporting.

Retina Display is a brand name used by Apple for liquid crystal displays which they claim to have a high enough pixel density that the human eye is unable to notice pixelation at a typical viewing distance. The term is used for several Apple products, including the iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, and MacBook Pro.
