Do I need to purchase a copy of windows and install it on my computer in addition to VMware?

    Yes, you need windows install disk once you start your new virtual machine. Depending on what application you need to run perhaps a look at a VM with a GNU/Linux dist and Wine could be enough.

  • Yes, you'll need a valid copy of Windows for VMWare to work proper..it only allows for Windows to work at the same time as OS X, but it doesn't include Windows.
