    If the iMac has Bluetooth capabilities running Mac OSX 10.5.8 or later with the latest version of the
    latest version of the Wireless Mouse Software Update, yes, Magic Mouse is campatible.

  • As long as said iMac has the latest (10.5.8) update for Snow Leopard and the update for Bluetooth then it will work on your previous model iMac.

  • Yes, I have the 24 inch 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo with 1 GB SDRAM and works perfect, just be prepared to update the most software when pairing the mouse. That tripped me up for a sec....until I read the instructions.

  • Yes, should be. As long as you have BlueTooth and a fully patched Leopard (10.5.8) or Snow Leopard.

    I run it on a late 2007 MacBook with SL just fine.
