Can my Wacom Cintiq 21 UX work with an adapter hooked to a new 27-in iMac?

Answer
No, the connector for the Cintiq 21UX will not fit into this adapter. I'm currently asking Apple for help with this same issue, and I may have to ask Wacom about it as well.

you are better of buying an Apple TV, it will stream anything on your computer to your TV, you must be running on Mountain Lion, and your TV must have an HDMI cable

Answer
No, to use your MacBook Pro with an external display you'll want apple's "Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter". Search the Apple Store and it should come up.

Answer
Don't count on it. Unless they update the system's video software you'll probably have the same problem as me; you connect it and all you see is a fuzzy black screen.

do i have to press anything after I connect the cable to get it so show on screen?

Answer
Generally not. Look under the Apple in the upper left of your screen, then go to System Preferences > Display > Arrangement to decide how you're wish to use the monitor. If you don't first see your monitor come up upon plugging in the cable, press Detect Displays at the same System Preferences location previously described.

Sorry this is a bit late now - I guess you've solved it. You need to buy a MiniDisplay converter (from Apple dealers) which plugs into the MacBook, then connected to the TV with an ordinary HDMI to HDMI lead.
Plug the other end into one of the HDMI sockets on the TV and select that socket for input. You then need to go to Systems Preferences > Sound > Arrangement and select "mirror".
Then whatever is on your MacBook screen is copied to the TV screen.- Answered by Martin G

Many PC monitors use the VGA monitor standard. Wikipedia has useful pictures to match your monitor's connection to the adapters plug. You will need a Mini-DVI or Mini displayport (depending on which macbook you have) to VGA adapter.

Very soon. The new iMac accepts video input, so when an adapter is released that allows you to output to a Mini DisplayPort connection from a PS3, then you will be able to!
