    Enjoy music

Wondering if its just the brand that attracts customers ? I can assure you that the sound is unique and will make your ears dance :-)... and the price is fair if you wish quality. Who cares about the brand anyway....

    Beats Headphones

    • Written by from Walton on Thames

i found when testing a friends pair of beats studio, that the sound quality was overrated, they were incredibly overpriced and they were fragile considering the money he spent on them. i have also spoken to more than one sound engineering and production professional over the matter and they agree that you are purchasing a brand with the expectation of "incredible audio quality", i was advised by the professionals that i would be mad to buy such an item and that i should settle for Bose quiet-comfort for noise canceling and Sennheisers for the highest audio quality, i have heard both, and the void of difference in audio quality between the beats and Sennheiser's of almost equal purchase price. i warn anyone looking at buying beats for audio quality, look at the Sennheisers and Bose of similar value and you will understand what i mean.

    Disappointing Noise Isolation & Performance

    • Written by from Hong Kong

Except for its stylish look, I would not recommend this headphone, not even for its noise isolation feature. Bose QuietComfort 15 would be much better choice in terms of noise cancellation & isolation, sound performance, battery life, and comfort.

Good all round headphones, but a bit flimsy

    • Written by from Windlesham

    Positives:
-Good sound quality (similar to all beats on ear headphones)
-Two leads included in box (one with Control Talk)
    -Aesthetically pleasing design
-Hard case makes travelling easy and worry free
-Comfortable on ears for a long duration (More comfortable than the Solos and Pros)
-Lightweight in comparison to the Pros
-Block out ambient sound with technology in headphones

    Negatives:
-Poor design stability - flimsy plastic but they're more sturdy than the Solos
-'Snap' folding system requires correct technique - I often fear of snapping them as they feel so flimsy
-REQUIRES BATTERIES - but these tend to last a while as long as you remember to switch the headphones off after each use - However, it still adds an extra cost and annoyance if you have none when you're away.

    Overall:
-They're good looking and easy enough to travel with safely, unlike the Pros and particularly the Solos.
-My main issue with these headphones when it comes to folding them, the need for batteries and the price in relation to the materials use (a.k.a plastic).

I'm sure there's better headphones make a statement with the red 'b' instantly recognisable as top of the range headphones.

AMAZING!!!! BUT NOISE LEAKAGE IS CRAZY!!!!

    • Written by from London

These are if not the best one of the best headphones i have ever heard! i got them in the limited edition blue color and they're sweet looking and I've been turning allot of heads... maybe to many...
The battery life is long with good quality batteries (duracel)
in the end they're not worth 280 but definitely over 200

    Awful!!

    • Written by from Malmesbury

These are awful headphones for the money. The only reason so many people buy them, is because they are teenagers wanting them as a fashion statement. The sound leaks from them are terrible, and the sounds quality isn't even very good. The sound is just Bass heavily with everything being drowned out by it. I do not recommend these to anyone. Go for the Bose QuietComfort 15's they are brilliant for the same price!

Beats by Dre. is the biggest marketing con.

    • Written by from Melbourne

Beats by Dre. is the biggest marketing con.

I am really disappointed with my beats studio. They have a good sound quality, but they definitely not as 'amazing' as it they are touted to be and not worth $480.

I have tried listening to my beats studio headphones now on various apple prodoucts, and laptops, with music ripped using the highest quality possible. In all fairness they sound not more more different to my old Sennheiser HD 465 ($140) which are over 9 years old sound.

I wish I can take them back because I feel like I have just wasted a lot of money and worst still bought into the whole Beats by Dre. marketing ploy. Do your homework before investing in these headphones.

    sound leaks

    • Written by from glasgow

2 sets studio headphones. wasted £600.get the bose. the sound leaks are unbelievabley embarrassingly awful. apparently not a fault. every word can be heard by others even at low volumes. what is the point?????? my sons may as well just have their music on while i try to sleep as these offer `NO" privacy !!! no listening to cheesy tracks with these on. you will be rumbled, by those around you but more importantly by monster to the tune of £300!! do NOT buy these. (i stupidly purchased these on way to airport even thjough 5 stores i visited had no studio models for testing in store!!! i wonder why?????)

    Honestly

    • Written by from Wicklewood

These headphones overall are stunning, i'll keep it short and sweet for all those that are on the fence.
    Pros:
    - Comfortable
    - Epic sound quality
    - Amazing battery life
    - Style

    Cons:
    - Strong but will break if your careless
    - Finger prints
    - Price
    - Noise leakage, but they're headphones, what did you expect? Its only at 65%+, can't be heard on a bus or busy public place anyway

Thats all there is to it.

Awesome Sound, noise cancellation isn't amazing

    • Written by from Sutton

I had originally seen these in the Apple store but thought they were just fashion. After some research i saw that they had good reviews so i bought them. The sound first off is amazing, so clear and the bass is immense. They look great but maybe a bit on the plastic side; but nice plastic. The only problem or niggle i have with these headphones is that the noise cancellation does get rid of some background noise but not as much as you would expect with the price tag. Once your music is on though you can't hear anything. One other thing is that the sound leaks more than you would like but to be honest that doesn't bother me but may bother others.

    Shocking

    • Written by from ABERDEEN

These headphones are totally over-priced. I purchased them a few weeks ago and was highly disappointed with the sound quality. I already have a pair of Grado SR-60 over ear headphones, which were about £80 a few years ago and the sound on them is equally as good if not superior. I also have a pair of in-ear Shure earphones which were compatible price-wise and I would say they are better. Most of the expense is for the brand and style, I was also even more disappointed that the body of the headphones feels cheap and flimsy. I definitely regret buying these, you could get a pair of headphones equally as good, if not better, at a fraction of the cost. I thoroughly recommend Grado over this brand.

    Worth Buying!

    • Written by from West Midlands

I bought these headphones on the 12th of April 2010 around 12:45, and from the minute I ordered them I just knew they'd impress me. I bought them from Comet since they were cheaper due to an online offer for £219. They're really good with cancelling out noise, even on a plane with the loud engines etc they it works really good. I have also accidentally dropped them once or twice and they're still in good and well working condition. (There's only 1 scratch which is only visible from close up) Although you need batteries, they should last a fair while. (Try not to leave the noise cancelling on like me though) Also the carry case and clean cloth are very handy, I clean my iPod Touch regularly with the cloth. Overall, these headphones are worth the money and I would definitely recommend them to anyone with it's good, deep and clear bass and purity. I'd give them a 8.5 out of 10.

The sound quality is mind blowing!

    • Written by from london

Quite simply these headphones really are like being in the studio when the music is recorded! They are better than S E X!!
They are very comfortable! But it's the sound quality that is mind blowing! I have never heard such clarity of sound from a pair of headphones! Buy these and you'll not be disappointed!!!

Not a Sound Investment. (Pardon the Pun)

    • Written by from Oddingley

I bought these headphones on saturday. At first i was very impressed with the sound quality but after only 2 days i noticed a fray in the wire. I promptly returned them to the shop and got a brand new pair. I took them home and within 24 hours the headband had snapped in half. I am severely disappointed with the quality of these headphones and do not recommend them to anyone. I really enjoyed listening to these headphones but im not going to get another pair due to the £500 deficit I am now facing.

    Pros:
    - Great sound quality
    - Comfy
    - Look cool

    Cons:
    - I got ripped off twice
    - Cost
    - Durability
    - Terrible Sound Leak

    GREAT HEADPHONES

    • Written by from ST. IVES

Bought these for my ipod touch.
Brilliant headphones superb sound and although not the cheapest on the market worth every penny. So good I went out and purchased another pair for my daughter.
The headphones were beautifully packaged almost as good as Apple products.
Only problem I had was the battery expired when I left them on.

    Amazing! BUT!!

    • Written by from Eastleigh

Amazing sound quality, style, bass BUT read a lot of reviews and recommendations i can see why they could break easily but with a little love and care there gonna last along time. If you look after them, then should be no problems worth the money-ish! maybe a little cheaper and i would have bought them sooner.
