iPod nano Armband
Ruined my nano
Written by SC from Edinburgh

I bought this case last summer as I wanted something I could use in the gym for running and weights without having to carry my ipod around in my hand.
The case itself is quite good, access to the controls is fine, and you can see the screen quite easily.
There are a few shortcomings though:
1. The velcro isn't very strong so the band falls of a lot while running on the treadmill or rowing (anything that involves a backward-forward arm movement)
2. This case does not protect the ipod from sweat. My nano gets wet from the case and has now corroded round the edges and at the dock connector. It's a real mess and has started to function erratically.
Basically the case is ok, but there's not much protection against moisture. I'm disappointed that the bad design has destroyed my nano - something I doubt Apple will want to put right!50 of 52 people found this useful

good for arm NOT wrist
Written by AJ from Fareham

I originally bought this as in the description it states "wrap the band around your arm or wrist, and secure it with the adjustable fasteners". Unless you have huge wrists the size of the average arm this wont work as it is limited to how small it can fasten.
That said it is great on the upper arm or just below the elbow. I think a new description should be written really as yes you can wear it on your wrist - but it will be loose and rattle about.13 of 15 people found this useful

ipod nano 3rd Generation Apple armband
Written by AC from Woking

WARNING!!! do not use the Apple armband, especially turned in the upside down position. I only used my ipod at the gym for periods of 2/2.5 hours a day, 5 days a week. That generates a lot of sweat, which destroyed my ipod after 9 months. It corroded the casing, but more importantly caused internal water damage, which is outside the warranty. Apple were good by giving me a £21 discount to buy a new one, however, the 4th gen. ipod is not compatible with the old mains and car charger adapters or docking stations, so the discount was lost in buying new ones. Apple just changed the spec. so be WARNED!!!

Worth buying,defo!

I bought this armband at Christmas as it was the only armband on the site for the new nano.I was really impressed!I use it almost every day and so far no problems at all!I dont think it will ever break, there's no sweat or moisture problems when gyming-even if I run for an hour it stays put and isnt itchy or anything, and it's so light, you van't even feel it!It's also really easy to adjust the song and volume etc when wearing it and the screen is v.clear!
The only problems would be that sometimes if I'm going for a stroll down town i'd prefer to have it on my wrist but it won't adjust to there because the strap is too long.It always has to be at my elbow or higher. Also I'm going to buy the nike+ sensor but i'm not sure if it will fit in it???
Overall, very pleased and definitely worth buying!!!37 of 45 people found this useful

I have had no problems with it!

I have been using this armband with my ipod nano since Christmas and find that it is easy to fit, controls are readily accessible and even while I am pounding away on a treadmill at the gym, I can check my workout schedule with ease. I have to admit that I do use it 'upside down' to ensure that I can read my work out routine, though!
Recently I was at an airport and spotted a Belkin armband and constantly went back to look at it with a view to purchase; eventually, I had to admit that I did NOT need a new armband as the one that I had worked so well!
Buy it - this is certainly a worthwhille investment382 of 730 people found this useful

This is one ultimate sick armband you can go anywhere with this thing you can go running with it so that you are free handed.
I've got one and it's useful.People you should get this.Trust me you will love it.Also becausethe armband has a soft padding on your arm so it does'nt scratch you.
You can also adjust the tightness if you want it lose or tight.{NO ONE WOULD WANT IT LOSE OR THEY WILL LOSE IT LOL}
and for now godbye I WANT TO SEE YOU WITH THIS ARMBAND IF YOU DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY JUST SAVE I DON'T HAVE MONEY

As a sporty person found this armband a great idea! ok so not 100% user friendly, then by accident put the strap on upside down, wow makes life esier and the I Pod more accesable to us.
Try it yourself and see.707 of 1220 people found this useful
