In-ear headphones that fit and look good

    • Written by from Glasgow

I've been looking for good lightweight headphones for a while. Since the in-ear phones took over the market I have found it really difficult to find suitable phones that 1) didn't hurt, 2) fit my ears without falling out, and 3) sounded great. These phones fit the bill.
The packaging and design looks very thought out and detailed. The variety of earbuds/tips you get helps find the best fit and for me the choices were better than at least two major brands I've tried. The earphones feel lightweight but also sturdy so I won't have to worry too much about putting them in my bag. The fabric cable is initially a bit odd, but I got used to it very quickly, and in fact, after +2 weeks I prefer that to the usual plastic.
I'm not a sound expert but I find the sound on these to be very good and that they work well in both quiet and loud music. I got these just before travelling and they were brilliant on the plane, so nice and quiet. They are also great on a day to day basis in the office and help block out others' conversations.
As an added bonus to someone living in Scotland, these are Scottish design. Overall a great product with good design without compromising on the actual task at hand, ie. the sound. I'd recommend.

Excellent product! Best value for money!

Firstly, these headphones look good the design makes them look very high brow and stylish.

The remote and is very easy to use and at the perfect accessible place. It works perfectly with my iPhone for music control, as does the microphone for accepting calls.

This product comes with 7 ear-bud fittings which is fantastic because the selection will include a set comfortable for all ears. It also means you have spares which is a bonus. I've struggled in the past to find earphones that feel comfortable but now I have found the right size to rest in my ears comfortably. Although they are not specifically designed for it, I took these running and I was amazed that they did not fall out once which is a problem I have had with other headphones.

The carry bag is a nice add-on and the perfect size to fit in your pocket or bag.

The fabric braided cable was something I was not used to, but now much prefer to the traditional cable you find on most headphones. I no longer find myself constantly de-tangling my headphones and it feels far more secure and less likely to break.

Finally the sound quality is superb, it is clear and perfectly balanced for all types of music to be enjoyed to their full capacity.

I would recommend these headphones to anyone and can’t see myself going back to my old brand. The design features are excellent but they do not lack in top sound quality which is just as good as headphones twice the price of these. Brilliant value for money!

    Sound great

Sound great. I've not had any issues with voice calls as some have reported. Build quality does seem questionable though, I've had two pairs and both have lost audio to one earphone - but in each case RHA have replaced them with no questions. So I can't complain really.

    2nd pair in six months

    • Written by from Southgate

I'm on my second pair of these in just six months, and once again they have broken. Same sound loss in the right ear issue as previous pair. Build quality not up to much and don't really sound much better than apples supplied earphones. Save the £40 price tag and put it towards a pair of bose.

For the price and the 3 year warranty, these are great value; they really do sound outstanding and you won't be disappointed. You would be hard pressed to find anything close to this in quality for the price.

Simply amazing headphones, had a pair for myself and loved them so bought an extra set for my husband. Great for on the move, at the gym, audio book and making calls. Would highly recommend.

    Fabulous sound, useless with voice

    • Written by from Welshpool

I've contacted RHA about this issue. On any call there is terrible echo for the receiver.

Sound wise they are great, but save yourself some money and get the 350's. Same - the useless mic.

    Mighty sound

Finally sub £60 headphones that really pack a punch, great quality and actually designed with care. Stark contrast from most headphones this end of the market, work well for hands-free phone calls, remote is easy to use and audio is crystal clear. Bit disconcerting first that I couldn't hear myself speak as the earphones are noise isolating but found that making calls with only one earbud in my ear means I can stay connected with the rest of the world. Would highly recommend

great for sound terrible for calls

    • Written by from London

These phones are great sounding and 7 tips means you get a fit
BUT and it is a big but
After a few days everyone telling me that they can hear themselves coming back (echo) on the phone - I finally tried it out and they are almost unusable for calls - if you do a lot of pone then these are probably not for you - I tested with two iphones and original sets of headphones and have to take them back - shame 'cos they do sound great!

    great sound, great value

The quality of sound that these earphones produce is excellent, especially at this price. They genuinely could rival £100+ headphones, they produce a really warm, well-balanced listening experience, I could listen to them for ours. They are simply just a well designed, all-round solid headphone. Fully recommend them.

Good sound quality, good bass and acoustics. I enjoy the fact nobody else can hear what your listening to in quieter areas. Had to return the original pair I bought after a week as the wire came through the outer threading but apart from this I have no complaints with the new pair. Makes me enjoy my music more would recommend!!

Decentish Headphones, but poor for calls

    • Written by from Chesterfield

As a set of in-ear headphones these are pretty good, decent sound and the good selection of tips makes finding a fit easy. Comfortable to wear, and the braided cord feels substantial.

The downside is that using these as a hands free kit for the iPhone is terrible. People I've called have trouble hearing me, her themselves talking and I can have trouble hearing them.

I have owned several earphones from the white Apple ones to £90 Shure earphones and I have to say, the RHA earbuds are a mile ahead of all the others, even at almost twice the price.

They also come with loads of tips so they actually fit your ears properly!
