Bought this case approx 7 months ago, I have to say the leather is of really nice quality and has developed a lovely patina with wear. I would fully expect the leather to last for a long time.

However, the build quality on this case is of a much lower standard unfortunately. On my case the closing strap has split causing the press stud to fall out, this was due to the strap being glued together and disintegrating with use when stitching would have ensured it stayed put. Furthermore after using the card holders for a short time the side of the front flap has now started to come apart again due to not being stitched.

Overall this could have been a really nice case but shoddy quality no doubt to increase profit margins for the manufacturer means this is SERIOUSLY overpriced.

If you want a flip front case this is the one to get. The leather and stitching feels of high quality and you have access to all the iPhone controls including the home control which is not exposed on one other case I saw. Unlike all the other cases I found you can use the camera: simply open the flap and pull it right over the back. A leather hinge in the back allows the lens to be exposed. You do need to remove a small flap that fits over the top of the phone from its slot in the back though this could be left out and just tucked down the back if you use the camera a lot. The phone is completely protected but still compact enough to slip into my shirt top pocket. Looks and handles beautifully!

This is a nice case, but after only 2 months it is already falling apart! It is basically peeling apart and already looks 2 years old.

Whilst i like the case, it also has no hole for the camera, so you have to partially take it out of the case to take a photograph, which isn't great.

Mainly because of the fact it really hasn't lasted and the high price, i can't recommend this case.

Just bought this and love it. Didn't want a case with a hole cut out for the camera as it can be slightly in the wrong place, which then affects using the camera. This one is ideal as it doesn't have that problem because the front flip folds backwards on the crease so you can use the camera with the case still on. Good quality leather and a nice snug fit. Can use the earplugs and charge socket with the case on. The cut out on the front is big enough also to use Facetime without interfering with that camera lens. Not cheap, but neither is the iPhone 4, so it needs protecting!
