AnswerUnfortunately no... you can only fully plug it when you take out the bumper otherwise it's not gonna work cause it needs to be completely plugged in order to charge.

Best AnswerI found the Travel battery from Kensington for the iPod Touch a better battery fit as it will allow easy access to the headphone jack and allow hands free use.

do you leave this on permanently at all times or do you carry it around with you and pop it on when your battery is low ??
does this add to the batteries capacity or does it re-charge the battery. it sounds useful either ways , but I'd really appreciate some more info before/ if I buy. please help

Best AnswerYou carry it around and put it on when your phone gets down to about 20% charge. The charge on the battery is enough to bring the phone back to full charge, then you need to re-charge the battery again. The battery seems to hold a charge for at least a week.

Best AnswerYes, but the battery pack doesn't connect to the USB/Mains adapter directly, you would connect the two using the supplied USB cable.
