Disappointingly it is only USB 2.0. Says so right there in the details. I was hoping for a lightning to thunderbolt cable or at least USB 3.0. What's the point of a new dock if you can't at least get much faster transfer speeds?

It depends on the way you purchase the cable.

If Included inside the box of your iPhone 5: The cable carries the same warranty as your iPhone 1 year- 2 year depending of you purchase Apple Care. If your cable suffers due to a manufacturer defect then after scheduling a Genius Bar Appointment they will swap the cable for you. Physical damage from the consumer is not covered.


If cable is purchased as a separate accessory: You have 1 year of coverage. This also only covers defects in workmanship. Not Abuse or damage resulting from the consumer.

No, Apple mobile devices that run iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) can only print to an AirPrint enable WiFi printer on the same Wireless network. Most new HP printers feature AirPrint.

You should already have everything you need, but I'll run over it... You need a computer with iTunes installed, a sync cable to connect the iPad to the computer, and of course the iPad. Fire up the computer and Itunes, then connect the iPad to the computer. Once ithe iPad connects and finishes syncing select it in Itunes. (It will appear in the upper right area of the screen once the computer detects it is connected) Now just click on the "Photos" tab. From there you can enable photo import to the ipad and choose which folders on your computer to import. After you do that click Sync and the folders & photos in them will import to the ipad.

about 3 feet long...just enough to ALMOST reach your ear when plugged into a power strip on the floor and trying to talk in bed. BOO!!! Had the same problem with the Droid I bought...

Let's start getting some 6 foot cords IN the box folks!!!

This is not possible. Any info or files you want from one device to the other must be done through iTunes file sharing or with a cloud sync, Bluetooth or WiFi file transfer app between the two devices.

The lightning cable is a standard USB on one end, therefore you can use any USB car adapter.

Yes. Since this cable is meant to plug into a computer and not a wall, this cable will work with all iPad mini devices.

Answer is NO; the SD card adapter is one-way only. Ie, you can only import photos into your iPad, not export. You'll need the Lightning to USB cable in order to connect your iPad to your laptop or desktop as if it was a camera, and then use File Manager (on a PC) to transfer the picture files to the PC. If you look at iPhoto on the iPad, the only functions available are to Import photos from your SD card, not the other way around.
