Best AnswerYes, there is. I bought mine in Tel Aviv. It used to be you could only get American English and a couple of other alternate KBs here in the US, but today I noticed there are several, including Russian and Arabic, but still not Hebrew, on sale for Black Friday in the Apple online store.

Is there a wireless keyboard for the iPad that can fold up?
My husband wants a roll up keyboard that "is made out of that plastic, rubbery stuff". Does Apple make something like that? He wants to be able to travel with it, e.g., be able to "put it in his pocket", at least, put it easily in his iPad carrier.

What's the main different between the wireless keyboard and the wireless keyboard with numeric keypad (other than the obvious)?
The keyboard with the keypad is obviously longer, but why is there such a big price difference between the two? Are there any other differences?
- Asked by Azeen N from Tarzana
- 10-Feb-2010

Best AnswerThere are 2 USB ports on all of the wired keyboards, which is one big difference. The second is that the wireless keyboards have the bluetooth built in, which makes for some of the price difference, but it is really just the novelty of having it wireless which makes a part of the price difference.

Has the layout of the keys changed from previous versions?
The images show a horizontal return key, like the UIS English version. If that's the case, where's the backtic/tilde key? The previous key above the tab has to be THE most useless key on any keyboard ever created. Who types those characters?

At what distance in practice does this work at and does Bluetooth work through walls floors and ceilings?
It would be handy to be able to use the iTunes controls (volume, skip tracks, fast forward etc) in the bedroom which is above the living room where the MacBook lives connected to the TV. The distance would be less than 5 metres but there's a floor/ceiling in the way, will it work? It's a lot to spend just to try it out. I also want to know if it will work from a long way away with no obstacles like from the kitchen with the door to the living room open to control the iTunes movie while at the kitchen table. Is the 30 feet advertised actually true in practice and does the distance shorten as the battery life decreases?
