What's the main different between the wireless keyboard and the wireless keyboard with numeric keypad (other than the obvious)?
The keyboard with the keypad is obviously longer, but why is there such a big price difference between the two? Are there any other differences?

There are 2 USB ports on all of the wired keyboards, which is one big difference. The second is that the wireless keyboards have the bluetooth built in, which makes for some of the price difference, but it is really just the novelty of having it wireless which makes a part of the price difference.

Is there a wireless keyboard for the iPad that can fold up?
My husband wants a roll up keyboard that "is made out of that plastic, rubbery stuff". Does Apple make something like that? He wants to be able to travel with it, e.g., be able to "put it in his pocket", at least, put it easily in his iPad carrier.

It is possible that you can use it w/ iPhone that has OS 4 but extremely unlikely that apple would have made it compatible w/ cellphones of dif brands.

Portability and durability of this keyboard?
I've been looking for a case/keyboard combo for my ipad and none of them seem to provide enough protection. So I've decided on a hard case and probably this keyboard. I was just wondering whether this keyboard will be ok in my laptop bag every day taking it to uni etc? It's not like I throw these things around, but sitting on public transport etc I'm worried about the keys taking a bit of bumping.

At what distance in practice does this work at and does Bluetooth work through walls floors and ceilings?
It would be handy to be able to use the iTunes controls (volume, skip tracks, fast forward etc) in the bedroom which is above the living room where the MacBook lives connected to the TV. The distance would be less than 5 metres but there's a floor/ceiling in the way, will it work? It's a lot to spend just to try it out. I also want to know if it will work from a long way away with no obstacles like from the kitchen with the door to the living room open to control the iTunes movie while at the kitchen table. Is the 30 feet advertised actually true in practice and does the distance shorten as the battery life decreases?

It would work. The keyboard is actually quite powerful and the receiver on your computer is as well.

Has the layout of the keys changed from previous versions?
The images show a horizontal return key, like the UIS English version. If that's the case, where's the backtic/tilde key? The previous key above the tab has to be THE most useless key on any keyboard ever created. Who types those characters?

Best Answer
Yes and no. You can only pair one bluetooth device to one bluetooth receiver. If you want to use one keyboard with 2 computers, you will have to pair the keyboard between computers everytime you want to use it. If you're patient enough to do this, then yes.
