It depends... If you get it for the ipod touch and there is no damage to the case, then yes. But I still wouldnt recommend it. If its for the iPhone? No. Hope this helps!

The belt clip included can be used as a docking station. You can do this simply by twisting the clip around.

Even if the camera cover comes off, the camera area is still very well protected from falls!
Just wouldn't keep sand from scratching it.

It does swivel -- be warned though that I read a bunch of reviews that said that after a while, it wouldn't stay locked in any one position. The case itself is incredibly rugged but the quality of the belt clip doesn't really match the quality of the case itself. (I didn't have mine long enough to develop a problem, though -- I returned it after discovering that the case covers up the ambient light sensor. It's possible to disable the automatic brightness adjust, but I like the auto-adjust and it was driving me crazy that the screen was so dim all the time.)

It doesn't work because the case covers the sensor, but to be honest its best switched off with this fantastic cover.

Will a 45 degree plug (in ear) work with the Survivor?
Some cases (exterior shell) will not permit the 45 degree headphone mini jack to go in ALL the way, therefor not making proper contact.

After purchasing one (Survivor Case for iPod Touch 4th gen) I can affirm that YES, the 45 degree mini jack (Sony, InCase, UE by Logiteck) does make FULL contact. A Belkin mini to mini also fits.

it is made to take drops and has a intergraded screen protector so id say yes. i do not have one of these i have an iPod touch commuter series case, but i dont like bad cases and reading about this one id recamend it to someone that is a drop hazardous person or just wants exalent protection for their iPod touch.
