Microsoft Office for Ipad Mini?
I want to get an Ipad Mini, just basically to use as I use my laptop but more portable. The thing I use the most on my laptop is Microsoft Office. I realise that is Windows Operating System software, so would I be able to use it on the Ipad Mini?

Best AnswerYes, you can have several if you wish;
Either you may sync your email accounts via iTunes or
Manually enter the credentials into your iPad itself. The iPad has a set up wizard for this.
Open 'Settings' and scroll down to 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' and select.
Click on 'Add Account' and you will be presented with several popular options such as, iCloud, MS Exchange, Google Mail, Yahoo, MS Hotmail, MobileME and Other.
Other would be the option you would choose for add your own provider's POP or IMAP eMail account.

My company would like to use facetime as a customer service tool, what would be the best ipad this?
We would like to give our customers the option to see our products and speak to a real person who can answer any question they may have about the product.
The use of the device will be purely for facetime (and possibly skype),

AnswerTo achieve this, you will need an iPad 2, New iPad, or iPad with Retina Display. Also, I would personally use Skype, because it is compatible with almost every computer and mobile device. FaceTime is only available on Apple devices. Even if you do use Skype, you will need an iPad as I mentioned above. I would suggest a 16GB New iPad (3rd Generation). I believe that they will still sell them at Best Buy. The color (White or Black) is up to you, and so is the case. I hope that will be a successful tool for your business!

ipad mini to ethernet
Can I attach my iPad mini to an ether net cable. Don't have a lot of access to wi-fi, but yes to ethernet connections. Will this Micro adapter allow me to then plug in my USB ethernet adaptor that I have for my mac and then access internet on mini.

AnswerThe lightning connector does not support an ethernet connection. Besides that, your ethernet adapter most likely is a full sized USB device where this is a micro USB connector. They are not the same.

Can I get 3G added to my iPad 2? I cannot connect to the Internet unless I have code and password.
My husband bought me the iPad 2 but as we didn't understand the implication of having 3G, he didn't get it. I would like to access the Internet wherever I am but can't. Is there any way to add 3G to my iPad now?

Best AnswerYes you can if you have an iPhone. Go into settings, personal hotspots and switch to on. It should then pair up with your ipad. I have recently done this and is successful.

What "cellular data plan" is referring to is the contract that you can have with a network carrier in order to receive a mobile internet signal on an iPad with 3G capability. You can buy a data plan on the Apple Online Store when purchasing an iPad, or go to a carrier shop directly (for example AT&T in the US). The plans vary in price and the amount of mobile data you can get over the course of a month. Although if you have a 3G capable iPad, there are apps available that let you make free calls using your data connection to other Apple devices such as the iPhone and iPod touch.

AnswerSure. Go to your e-mail settings and add more accounts such as Yahoo. Also you can get the G-mail app for free and add lots of e-mails that have any Google connection.
