Will I be able to plug in pair of Mackie SRM four fifty active powered speakers directly to the IPAD2 using this DJ Cable?

Like the other person said, no. You will need to buy an adapter cable if you just wish to plug it straight into the back of the speaker, however you need a different adapter if you want to plug it into a sound desk

  • No, you will need to use some form of adapter from 1/8" headphone to XLR to get the audio into the mackie's as they only have XLR I/O

  • Adapting to the Mackie's XLR input is no problem. However for a more powerful signal, clearer sound at high volumes, and for multiple hour use, I still like running these devices through a mixer so you don't have to work the SRM's amps as hard.

  • As long as they have the right jack or you have an adapter. The female output is for a standard male headphone.
