    Its not the scales that get used with the iPad, its the Withings app. The Withings scales send the results over your broadband wifi connection and to your Withings account/website. The Withings app then accesses your data/results off of your Withings account.

    I can confirm that the Withings app works fine with the iPad 3 has I have the iPad 3 and the Withings scales.
