Does the Display have HDMI input/output connection?
Since I am fully integrated with the Internet I would like to know if the display panel have an HDMI input/output. This would make the display a viable solution for integrating my video systems with this display.

It seems like there are many answers to this question and questions like it that refer to the MDP to HDMI adapters currently available on the market. Unless my thinking is faulty, these adapters WILL NOT provide the solution you are looking for.
The MDP to HDMI adapters are designed to allow Macs with MDP's to connect to an HDMI input on an HDTV. They have a male MDP plug and a female HMDI port.
In order for to use an adapter for this kind of solution, it would have to have a *female* MPD input, as the Cinema Display has a male MDP plug which would need to plug into it.
After an exhaustive search, I could turn up no adapters equipped with a female MDP port and female or male HDMI. So currently, adapting is not the solution to this problem.

no, sorry it doesnt. Just 3 powered usb ports, a mini display port, a mag safe charger and a usb plug (to connect the built in hub to your mac). The mini display port can be converted to HDMI / DVI via an adaptor, but no direct connection

MDP is the only video connection offered by the 27" cinema display, but the $30 MDP (F) to HDMI (M) adaptor sounds like it could suit your needs.

The Kanex XD should solve the problem. If indeed you haven't fixed it already.

No, the display has mDP only. There are adapters, but they're not very cheap.
