Is it possible to connect the dock to power outlet & computer at the same time, so it syncs with the computer if it's on & charges alone if not?

I need something that charges my iPhone when my computer is off, and allows me to sync if the computer's on, while having the phone in the same place and not changing cables. Why isn't there an accessory for this?

  • No, it does not. There's only one USB port on the back. The bright side is the included adaptor can charge any other USB device!
