What is the range of the airport express?

I have a wireles router on the main floor and my macbook will be on that floor as well. I want use to use the airport express with my home stereo equipment located in the basement. WIll this work?

  • This will probably work fine, depending on the materials your floor and walls are made from. As wireless reception is such a delicate and house specific experience, it's best to experiment and find out what works for you. If you have any issues, you can return the Airport Express for a full refund within 14 days, however as I said, I don't expect you would have any trouble at all. :)
