Not in the sense of "Bluetooth". To just block out sound you don't have to have the cord attached. But if you want to listen to music, you must attach the cord first.

No, they aren't wireless. The Bose QCs use a cable to plug into an iPad, iPhone etc.
I've had two pairs of the Bose QC headphones as new models have appeared over the last few years. I travel a lot and they are superb for flying. You can actually sit and really enjoy a movie at 30,000'.
Sound quality is excellent as is the build quality. One minor quibble, I have spent a fair amount of time in tropical countries and the material used for the ear covers tends to break down over time in that type of climate. They are replaceable though for around £20 a pair and this is easy to do.- Answered by Tim G from Stockport
