Which is best for 6 and 7 year old girls, a Mac Pro 13" or Mac Air 13"? I just can't decide??

My girls have been using a computer for a couple of years and I promised them a laptop each for Christmas this year (yes I am running out of time!!!!) but can't decide between the Mac Pro 13" and the Mac Air 13". I originally though the Mac Pro because they can watch DVD's but I don't know if they would really use this feature much. I spent an hour in the Apple Store yesterday and the guy I was talking to said the Mac Air would be better, newer technology, size, etc... but as I was leaving the store I spoke to another salesman who said the Mac Pro was better :) ????? So now I really don't know what to do?
They would be using it for school, internet games, art work, camera photo editing, and connecting in their i touches. PLEASE HELP...........

    For a 7 year old nothing is better than Mac Air 13"
