Yes!
The early iMac's have supported this, my mid 2007 has supported this, and it runs great to this day! There is an external monitor connection on the back of the iMac. Grab an adapter from the apple store, and you can connect a second monitor. If your iMac has thunderbolt ports, you can typically run up to 3 monitors including your iMac screen.- Answered by Gregory Z from Langley
