what printer should I get for my iPad 3

I want to be able to print mainly documents and spread sheets from Pages and Numbers apps

    I think the HP 3050a wireless printer is great, i have one myself and it works really well with my ipod touch

  • Head to Apple store>Shop iPad>iPad Accessories>AirPrint Printers

    All the printers on this page work brilliantly with the new iPad and the Pages and Numbers apps.

  • I have the HP Photosmart 7510. It does it all. Amazing photo reproduction wirelessly from my iMAC, iPad and iPhone5. Great price for a scanner, copier, printer combo.

    Great for printing documents from any application.

    Also, this printer has a photo tray. I keep a supply of 4X6 photo paper in the tray for quick printing of photos from all devices and photo applications.

  • I agree with the point about using software to achieve a print solution for the iPad rather than buying yet another piece of kit to find desk space for. However, you have to keep in mind the need to have your PC on in order to use your existing printer via a software solution. Wireless printing is about having a standalone print solution that doesn't need a PC to make it work.

  • ideally you should get an airprint enabled printer - the official list can be found on this site
    but you can also print from pages and numbers via print n share
