Nice Dock, a couple of niggles
The dock feels solid and well made and it's definitely a real benefit to have a spare battery for topping.
However, there are a couple of things to point out.
1. The spare battery sits on the mini usb connector with no other support. No recess, no slot. Seems that it would be all too easy to damage the connector if the battery is knocked whilst plugged in.
2. When plugged into a USB port, even a powered one, the dock will charge either battery or phone (defaults to phone when attached) but not both at the same time. I haven't tried it with the dock's own power brick as it would mean having to get under the desk every time I want to use the dock to sync (the USB cable plugs into the power adaptor).
Otherwise, a great piece of kit! …- Written by Philip Y from Peterborough

Super overall solution
What I particularly like about this dock apart from all the other sales information above is that the mini USB cable can be discon nected from the dock.
The benefit of this is that you can then use the EU/UK adapter cable and battery directly off the mains while travelling.
You can then attach your iPhone which then makes this a travel power adapter for UK and Europe. I have found that you can then charge everthing at once when travelling giving you an easy to charge spare battery while travelling. …- Written by Wendy A

Kensington Charger
I recently replaced my Palm, Blackberry and 'phone with an iphone.
I travel to the UK every week, usually over and back in a day. Battery life is a real problem for me on long days. The Kensington charger is light and the addition of the external battery is a bonus. I don't need to bring a laptop and tend to use the iphone quite a lot to stay in touch with my office. like most people I tend not to think about battery life until it becomes critical. Before getting this charger I ran out of power twice in a row at Heathrow.
I strongly recommend it to anyone who travels frequently or are away from the office for long periods. The fact that the battery does not have a 'memory' is helpful. …- Written by John S from Dublin

This is the product you've been waiting for someone to invent!
The best thing about it is the adaptability. By disconnecting the USB from the mains plug, it gives you the option of charging thr ough the laptop while syncing, or charging through the mains. The cable also charges the GPS and camera so means you need fewer cables when travelling. Very compact, with two-pin adaptor included for Europe. Works for iPhone and iTouch. Fast charging too, I'd definitely recommend buying this. …
