Ultimate Ears Metro.fi 170vi Headset
Very impressed, value for money !!
Written by GH from York

This product comes in at the budget end of the market, yet offers excellent sound quality and very good noise cancelling to external sounds.
The microphone provides an extremely good clear sound and does not pick up background noise. I called a colleague with the radio on and they told me they could barely hear it, which is impressive !
The silicone ear cushions come in 3 sizes and the size I am using fit perfectly and very comfortable and very secure. I've not jogged in them yet, but I am confident they will be fine given the snug, yet not tight fit !
Overall, for a product under £30, you'll struggle to find better, they are better than the standard headset and look very stylish too.
Good value for money, good performance, good style !

For the record, the guy in the Apple store in Birmingham was REALLY helpful, great service and very much appreciated ! …More79 of 83 people found this useful

Ultimate Ears Metro.fi 170vi Headset
Superb design & quality

I am very very happy with this headset.Apart from the amazing sound quality that is crisp with an excellent bass response,I really liked the design.
For me it's simple and back to basics. It's good to see an equal cable length to the earphone(s) after the Y split and a mic that sits just about mouth/chin height and is very lightweight and unobtrusive.......things that my MM50IP's failed miserably on.
The control/push button is located separately from the mic and sits about 4" before the Y split and is easy to locate and press as it hangs about your midriff......1 press gives you pause/play,2 quick presses skips forward one song and 3 quick presses skips back one song.
For £30 they put the more expensive headsets to shame and you also get a flip top plastic carry case....what more could you want. …More37 of 38 people found this useful

Nice sound but poor design!!
Written by SM from ODENSE C

Well the sound and all that is really good. But I find the rubber things really hard, and if you hear music for a longer period of time it gets unconformable. Another bad thing is that the button for answering call is placed far down the wire, so you cant reach it if you wear it under your cloth. I had hoped it was placed like on the original Apple headset, but sadly no!! :( One more thing is that the material the wire is made of feels really cheap.. …More

Buy it now, its brilliant.

I don't normally write review on products I buy but I felt compel to do so this time in the hope that it will help other people who are planning to purchase a new headset make an inform decision. Like me if you dont have a lot of dosh to spend, there isn't a better headset around for £30. The calrity of sound and the base are superb, like many of the reviewers I was plesantly supprise. I have listened to the Bose headset which cost threee or four times the amount of this one but the sound quality was awful compare to this one. Buy it now! …More

Prepare to hear everything but your music...
Written by LJ from Whitehaven

Ive only had these headphones a couple of days to replace the stock headphones from my iPhone 3G. The apple design of those ones is great but im afraid the ergonomics arent reflected in these earphones. The review mentioning the sound you can hear through your footsteps and through the cable is entirely true. Its really annoying. And the push button control is no good if you are wearing a jacket as its hard to locate the thing! Good bass yeah but living with these headphones in anywhere other than somewhere were you remain still is super annoying. …More
