I used to have the original cx 300 but they unfortunately broke up so I bought these as replacement. They are pretty much the same headphones, though there is some more detail in the sound. The sound is very detailed and bass-heavy which I find great for rock and metal music, though everyone might not like it. Overall these are much better than the standard ipod earphones. …More

i bought these headphones as a replacement for the original Ipod headphones.
at first they were great, a good, heavy baseline for all of my metal tracks and were great value for money
BUT, the headphones broke within 2 weeks for no apparent reason.

I had the same experience of other users that had loss of sound in the left ear. It happened after 1 month, then I returned them and got a replacement and the same thing happened again after about 6 month - thats why I'm back looking for new headphones - When working they sound good - but are best avoided I think... …More

Its all to do with how you treat these headphones, they are a stunning buy with brilliant sound quaility, but if you dont treat them delicatly then not only are they going to break, bu they will be a plain waste of money.
So if you treat all your electronics well then a great buy, awsome quality and easy as anything to wear, if not I would advise something a little more hard wearing, maybe the origional apple ipod heaphones or Skullcandy headphones. …MoreWas this useful?

I dont know guys ,but i have this headphones at least 2 years and they working great without any problem..i use them at work 3 times weekly,5 hours daily, for picking in tempreture 2 celzius degrees ..maybe new products of this kind have error from production.. …More
