Air Jacket so lightweight you won't know you're wearing it!

Really like this iphone case for it's streamline feel. I have had hard cases before which really add bulk but the Air Jacket feel much lighter. The hard case which protects the back and sides of the iphone is very thin and you can hardly tell it's there and because it's clear you can still appreciate the beautiful design of the iphone.
I also like the film cover as it protects the screen from scratches and helps reduce finger marks but also gives a smooth feel to the touch screen helping your finger move along it more easily.
You also get transparent adhesive pads to insert between the case and iphone which prevent the case from scratching the phone with any dust that may get stuck in there. …More170 of 186 people found this useful

Looks good, but poor protection
Written by LO from Newcastle-upon-Tyne

I thought that I would wait 2 months or so after I purchased this item to produce a more accurate assessment. Whilst first impressions were great - the protective screen film and body case fit like a glove, and look and feel almost non-existent - I soon realised it wasn't all what it was cracked up to be. After a few weeks I realised I had to periodically remove the body case to clean trapped dust. Disappointingly, the dust had already managed to create light (and quite noticable) scratches along the surface of the outer metal trim of iphone. Everytime I went to clean the outer case, I noticed more little scratches. I got fed up with it, and have decided to remove it completely. The protective screen film seems to be doing the job, but I am disappointed with this product given the excessive pricetag. My advice is to look elsewhere! …More

Power Support Air Jacket for iPhone 3GS
Scratches metal bezel!
Written by JM from Milton Keynes

I purchased this cover after reading great reviews. I used it straight away, and after the first month I was very happy with it. It's very slim, and protects the back panel from scratches. I wasn't worried about dropping it, as I rarely do that, and I wanted a case with as little bulk as possible. From then on wards I began to notice the cases true colours begin to show. I purchased the clear one. Which was an absolute scratch magnet. So it starts to look really used, really quickly. The fit of the case began to losen, which meant the once tight fit was becoming slack so that the iPhone would wobble and pop out the case very easily (not easy enough to fall out, but easy enough the give the impression that the phone would come out too easily). The worst part was that it scratches the metal bezel of the phone, which is a very poor design fault!! How this got approved by apple, I do not know!!
I'm giving it one star because the company provides two types of screen protector, which most people give you the option of buying individually.
I do not reccomend this product at all. I have now brought the incase slider, although slightly thicker, offers far better protection, and doesn't scratch your lovely iPhone!! …More59 of 62 people found this useful

Power Support Air Jacket for iPhone 3GS
Does the Job and looks great
Written by AL from Broxbourne

I have had this case on my 3GS for a couple of months now and I disagree with some of the negative reviews.
I think this case looks the best of any ive had on my iphones. The phone looks great, and being clear you barely notice its on, and doesnt add much extra in size. Also, alot of other clear cases have branding on them... This is a completley smooth peice of plastic, which i really like.
Im using the anti-glare screen protector (matt finish) and i have not noticed that it decreases the sensitivity at all.
The case does not scratch the chrome bezel. But thats because I hardly ever remove the case (a few times since ive had it) and when i do remove it, i do it carefully.
The case has not loosened either. Again, because i have no need to keep removing the phone from the case.
I would suggest if you use a dock, dont purchase this case as you would have to keep removing it, and from other reviews thats obviously a problem.
Mine hasn't scratched and doesnt look tatty either. It slides into my pocket with nothing else in it, and when i put it on a surface, im careful not to slide it around.
If it eventually gets tatty, i'll but another exactly the same. Ive never had a case that lasts forever! …MoreWas this useful?

Great!

I bought the Air Jacket around 3 weeks ago, lets start with the good points: The fit is superb, with a nice close fit and being only .7mm thick its hardly noticeable, also i like crystal cases and this looks good without looking like a cd case!, the screen protectors are really thick and with a gloss and matt one the choice is yours, dont worry about bubbles if you have any you can work them out with your fingers easily just make sure your screen is spotless before application.
Now the bad bits and this is why it gets 4 stars and not 5 from me!:
The case does not cover the chrome bezel, only half way, this means it does get scratched, also taking the cover on and off the phone repeatedly leaves noticable marks on the phone and bits of grit or whatever can get under the case meaning it does need to be removed regularly to clean, Also it does scratch quite easily so it hasnt kept the nice shiny smoothness to it, All in all this is a good case if your in an office or something like that but if your in a manual job then the mess getting under does get to be a pain and maybe not for you. …MoreWas this useful?

This is great!

Not sure why other people are giving this a bad review, maybe I have a later product version. This is great!
The iPhone is a thing of beauty and the clear version lets you see what you have paid all this money for! No problems with chargers and it absolutely protects the phone unless you throw it across the room - and why would you do that?
I am clumsy and pretty careless. I have had this for over 2 months now and it has served me very well. …More6 of 7 people found this useful

Hi :)
I actually played with this (the purple one) in an apple store, took it out and tried it on.. i fell in love with it, but didn't have the money to buy it :(
In answer to your question, while loving it i tried to get it off to return it to its case, and a fair bit of force to remove it - so yes i would of said it was a rather tight case
